I had been going to Donde Adela since 2015 and considered it the best Colombian restaurant in Los Angeles. I drove an hour from my house and I didn't care because we knew the food was worth it, but those days of good taste are over. Yesterday was the last time we went to Donde Adela after 9 years of loyalty. Truly the food is nothing special anymore. The restaurant has been downgraded and it seems that they no longer pay the same attention to things as before. To begin with, the menus are full of spelling errors and nothing is priceless. The lack of attention is so great that the restaurant name and logo looks blurry/pixelated on the menu itself. Yesterday I ordered a tray paisa and the only thing that tasted the same as before was the Chorizo and I doubt they make it. The rich flavor that the beans, chicharrón, meat and rice had is no longer the same. The penultimate time I went I ordered a bean casserole and I was also disappointed but I returned once again and it was yesterday trying everything on a paisa tray that made me throw in the towel with this restaurant. We were also bothered by the attitude of a waitress with a coastal nod, she kept yelling from the kitchen at another waiter who was taking orders from customers. The coastal waitress didn't give a damn that her colleague was talking to customers, for a moment she made me feel like I was in a market place. My wife and I felt sorry for the waiter who had to interrupt taking orders to attend to that screamer.They sell mediocre Colombian food around my house and even with nicer service.Since they started with that theme from the movie “Encanto” the restaurant practically lost its Charm.

The truth was disappointing; We ordered some empanadas that never arrived, and additionally we asked for a portion of Creole potatoes to take away that they charged us for, but when we saw the order at home they didn't give it to us.

Bad experience with the waitress who was very despotic when responding, they should change her or send her to take customer service classes. I don't know her name but she has a skin condition. Otherwise all good. Ah! They should also answer the phone because one is far away or remove that ordering option.

The restaurant has a very rich seasoning, the rice, although it seems somewhat simple, is one of the most delicious I have eaten in this country, it reminds me of my home.From the times I have gone, I have had the perception that a specific waitress is rude, not friendly and when she serves the food she throws the plates.I took the time to read all the reviews with their respective responses before writing my review and I realized a few things:1. The wait time has improved a lot, you really don't have to wait long for the food.2. I have gone during peak hours and the waiting time for a table is normal and reasonable for any restaurant in this country.3. The attention every time I have gone has been bad, except for one time when a boy who was new attended me.4. I could see that in all the responses from you regarding the attention you had something in common talking about empathy and also listening to both parties, but on the occasions that I have gone the attention is just as bad and I feel which is an excuse to be able to respond to messages in a cordial and respectful manner, but it would be good to be able to train the waiters since they serve the public and I know that serving the public is usually quite tedious but that is what the job is about, having the emotional intelligence to manage personal situations and separate them from work since many times, as we say colloquially, we are not to blame for anything that others may be going through, that would be true empathy. It is very unpleasant to arrive at a place where you feel poorly cared for, it even causes a feeling of not being welcome in the place.

Food was ok, a little disappointed in the flavor, I have had many Colombian dishes in my time that were Very delicious, but this was missing a lot of flavor. Especially the beans which used to be my favorite part. The beans were lacking in flavor.

Unpleasant attention, I was with my children and the owner told us to shut up, giving me a bad face, I should take a customer service course, I honestly felt sorry for others. I think that the next time something like this happens to me I will report it to the district, people have to respect others and even more so when they are providing a service to the public.
