For the last couple of months, I've been trying out a new place for lunch. A friend told me about The Greenery Natural Kitchen. They recently went through a change in ownership and redesigned the interior of the restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the menu and the food. My favorite menu item is the 1/2 sandwich (turkey and avocado on squaw bread) and 1/2 salad, which includes chips and salsa. The food is delightful and always fresh, and brought to the table in a very reasonable amount of time by friendly servers. I highly recommend The Greenery.

Great healthy food for over 20 years. New owners have made improvements and the service is always with a smile, looking forward to the future improvements! The ambiance has improved with a fresh facelift, great choice for a quick healthy meal!

I have been coming here for many years and even under new ownership, they have the best tuna sandwich on squaw ever! You will not be disappointed. Their salsa is also a big hit! My daughter is obsessed with their chicken wild brown rice soup but I've never been able to order anything but the tuna sandwich since it's always a huge craving of mine! Give ''em a try!!! My first impressions upon coming in after driving by plenty of times was that it was a nice, clean-looking restaurant that was recently remodeled. My mood changed when I was told my online order would not be ready for another 10-15 mins after the posted time online. Other people seemed to be waiting for food when I arrived as well. Also, overheard them explain to a group of 6 people that one of the salads someone ordered was not available. I'm not sure why they weren't informed earlier, major pet peeve. Hopefully they can redeem themselves with the food which is reasonably priced. After patiently waiting for close to 30 mins. my order for 1 burrito and a side salad was finally ready. Seems like they have major staffing issues but PLEASE DO NOT have your online ordering system quote a 15 min. pickup timeframe if it's going to take more than double that time for the food to be cooked. Even if it turns out to be the best burrito I've ever eaten it still wouldn't make up for their lack of customer service. Next time I'll take my business across the street to Green Tomato Grill or El Pollo Loco. ***edited this review after eating to add more context***After eating the shrimp and black bean burrito I can most definitely say I'll never be back. Although I like their healthy menu options the burrito seemed to be lacking something like salsa. I mean you can pay the extra $2 for avocado but then it raises the price to $15.99 for a burrito and small side salad. All that, plus their hours of operation are reason why I won't be coming back

New Owners -- Same Great DishesWas delighted that there are amazing new owners who have updated the restaurant, but have kept all of the delicious dishes and the same back-of-the-house staff.I am a 40+ year fan of The Greenery since they were first in Fullerton in the 80s. Their tuna meltie always hits the spot -- always fresh and delicious!!!! Bonus: Their side salads feature homemade dressings (Poppy Seed is my fave -- very light and mouthwatering.

We are always looking for something healthy and good for us. Well, this is the place! The Turkey Delight on raisin bread with cranberries is delicious. Also, had the Cashew Chicken on Dark Wheat. Enjoy the salad with the creamy herb dressing. Love their smoothies, as well. Just hate to waste a good place. The two ladies that work their are friendly and hard working. Try it. We'll be back again soon. At least twice a week. Oh, my hubby loves the lentil soup. Next time I'll try something else. Ciao!
