VERY disappointed with the Chile Verde. The pork was tough and dry. You could tell that it wasn't fresh, but several days old and reheated several times to serve to unsuspecting patrons. The restaurant should be ashamed to serve such recycled low-quality food. I live in Orange and have passed it several times over the years as I've walked past it. I finally went in and tried it and I was SORELY disappointed. I will not be going back.

My family went here before the Ducks game. Saw an Instagram video about this place and was so excited to try this place out.I was sad! I REALLY had high expectations for this place! This place was not terrible but for the price of the food...I was a bit surprised! I was hoping for more out of this place and the Instagram marketing really pumped this place up... But I'm sorry to say... It was just ok...wah wah wah!It really was a nice location sitting on a great popular street with lots of shopping and restaurants... But the food was nothing to brag about unfortunately.I think the only food items that were tasty were the beans, the fried jalapeno and the home made corn chips. Those chips were REALLY good!!The salsa bar was tucked away to the right of the register. The salsa options were 3 that were ok in flavor. There was a tomato salsa that was just bland crushed tomatoes. A green salsa and an orange colored salsa that just needed flavor. Salsa is EVERYTHING to a restaurant and if you can't get that right well...shrugs!There were also pickled carrots and a separate container with pickled jalapenos. Nice with providing options but they need flavor! The soda machine was cool! Many options but no diet Dr Pepper. The actual restaurant decor was nice and clean.I ordered the steak nachos to share and it was my impression that since we were eating there, we'd be served on dinnerware but they served us on paper plates. The nachos lacked cheese isn't that the whole concept of eating nachos?! To have cheese! The other thing I didn't like is that the nachos were placed in a very tiny aluminum container. They would've been better off placing them in a larger container for nicer presentation and adding more cheese please!!!!For my meal I ordered the carnitas plate which was not bad. I really enjoyed the beans but the rice was was mehh. They did however add a nice large portion of carnitas so that was a perk. I did enjoy the horchata!Overall... It was about a 6.5 out of 10 for the food. But the price of the food drops it to about a 5 out of 10.I'm sure we would've paid half the cost for the same food in a not so busy Street. My bad...The location of the place was a great but again...this is why I think the pricing is higher and well, the customer ends up paying for this. They lacked service. I still gave them a 22 dollar tip because we all need to make money and I'm assuming they share the tips? But was it deserved by the last...not at all!The lady behind the counter working the register and also serving the 2 other customers in the restaurant...could use some facial manners and patience when taking people's orders and skills in learning how to provide nice customer service... Especially when someone asks you "where the drinks were ordered are?" and "where our other food items are...?"Some of our food was delayed.Anyhow.... It's an ok place if you want to pay for ambiance.

My family loves to go here. It is a lively restaurant. They have tvs and they play sports. We always go when we want to watch a game and enjoy a good meal. The staff is super friendly and kinda feels like ur visiting family. They get happy to see you. Definitely would recommend to anyone who asks.

They have daily specials that don't hurt the wallet. Yummers. I ordered the 3 taquitos plate with rice and beans with quacamole and sour cream. It was on special for Thursday for around 7 99. Nice portions and your choice of shredded chicken beef or potato taquitos. Yummmm!!

1st time here. My husband enjoyed his Carne asada wet burrito. The shrimp in my shrimp burrito was super overcooked so I didn't like the texture of my burrito. If we return, I will try something else. Good salsa bar, friendly staff.

My husband and I did an Uber eats order from here. First off,,, inflation. Prices were pretty high, gave 3 orders of chips andas a reimbursement We order the asada burrito in red sauce. The price was $18..99 and it was the size of a regular burrito. It had too much cheese on top and if we could have ordered it dry we would have but that wasn't an option. Next were the fish tacos. They were about $6.50 a taco. The fish was grilled and a bit salty for my taste. The pink sauce it came with had a kick to it so if you have a low tolerance for spicy I'd put just a bit. I ordered 2 scopes for myself, one asada {$10} and Al pastor {$8}. The asada one was way better than the Al pastor. The meat was tender and well seasoned, the Al pastor one was too sweet and very greasy. Both scopes were overwhelmed with lettuce and yellow cheese. I just wish is was less lettuce and they used either fresh cheese or cotija cheese

My wife and I ordered the overpriced Chicken Enchiladas combo with rice and beans and the shrimp ceviche tostadas. Both dishes were bland/lacked flavor. My wife felt I'll an hour later after eating the enchiladas. We will not be returning.

Finally found a Mexican restaurant that I love, been looking for a while since moving back to Orange County, It’s really delicious and they have so many great choices, with whatever you get you can’t go wrong, their refried beans are my favorite.

Had a really yummy relleno stuffed burrito with carne asada added. The chips were those house made lightly salted type, dank. The guy there was nice. Honestly was pleasantly surprised

We went here for a work luncheon to celebrate Fall hiring and birthdays. I was really excited because it was my first time here and I have been wanting to eat here since I started working the area. The workers are great and very friendly. The dining area is pretty big with lots of tables and booths for big groups. it's really close to the Circle so tends to get busy and not much parking in front. I ended up ordering the 3 taquitos plate with rice and beans. I should have ordered the appetizer and added rice because there was so much food. Everything was delicious. My favorite was the rice and all the cheese they put on top. My coworker got the shrimp tacos and let me tell you, they are not stingy with their shrimp. They were jumbo sized and so many in one taco. That was a struggle to eat. Since I am always in the area, I am sure I will be back because it is in a convenient spot and close to work.

Anyone complaining about this place not being tasty is being ridiculous, they have delicious Mexican food here. Prices are not unreasonable for the current economy, but this absurd inflation is making everything skyrocket. That's not on them though, their ingredients cost a lot more so the end result will too. Companies are doing what they can to stay in business. I will definitely be coming here more often. Also parking is not difficult, there are multiple public lots within a street or two of this place. Parking isn't the business's fault, it's how the city area is setup. God forbid we have to do a little walking. Lol

I have been coming here for a decade. You have to take out a second mortgage on your house for a pair of tacos now. The last three times I’ve been here I’ve been given the wrong kind of tacos and they have not been extremely helpful about it. If you are going to charge 20 dollars for two tacos, rice, beans and a drink, I think it’s fair to expect the correct food being served. And if there is a mistake, jump at the chance to fix it so the customer doesn’t feel bad for asking. The food here is good and so is the atmosphere, I don’t think anyone could order anything that doesn’t taste good. I think they may have changed owners or perhaps it has been hard to find quality staff. But for the money they are going to ask you to spend, there are certainly better options at a better price point with better service.

I used to LOVE getting food from here often but the prices have risen so high that they've priced us out for even weekly meals. Now it's going to have to be once in a long while but I'm not sure the two taco plate is even worth $20. I'm so sad.
