Reservation on a Thursday was at 7pm. Didn't get sat until 745. Or water and one beer didn't come out until 810. Dinner didn't come until after 9. 2 rolls were missing and didn't arrive for another 30 min. There were only 20 people in the restaurant. Not sure where the break down was. Luckily the rolls were great

Visited this restaurant on Valentine's Day with my open table reservation. We waited 20 minutes to be seated. It seems to be that all the take out orders took precedence over customers already seated waiting for drinks and food. I looked across to another table and could tell they had been waiting quite sometime for a server to return to their table. We had plans after dinner so this out us in a rush situation. Ryan and Marissa were working their butts off but management needs to staff better in the future.

Stay away from this place. The Groupon is weak, and they UP charge you without you knowing. The girl takes your order, then chubby Asian walks by and says you need a better glass. Oh, up charges on bill for upgraded glass!! Find another place, trust me...
First and foremost the negative reviews, you all should be a shame of yourselves. This is my first time here and I'm highly impressed not only with the service the atmosphere but an establishment who actually serves fresh fish and actual sashimi portions. It reminds me back when I was growing up in Tokyo. Fresh fish is the best especially when it comes to finding the right places. We ordered the soba, ahi tuna, deluxe kosian bento, sunimono, agedashi tuna. Ryan was our server and he did a great job assisting us. The entire staff is very attentive friendly and also kind. Did I forget to mention, the establishment is well kept and clean. The decoration is esthetically pleasing.I would highly recommend this hidden gem here in orange if you are a fan of fresh fish. So hard to find. Don't let the negative reviews stir you away. ? they definitely take care of you here. BTW ty Ryan once again

The restaurant is typically peaceful and I usually enjoy their delicious food. However, during my recent visit, both the beef and chicken dishes were unexpectedly tough and the service was extremely slow. Unfortunately, the server did not check back after serving the food.

I have been wanting to try this place for a while. I stopped by today and found that it was a very pleasant atmosphere. I was greeted at the door by the waiter and seated. I ordered the special Bento box and asked the waiter. What sashimi was served? He said albacore, salmon, and tuna. When he brought out the sashimi, it was yellowtail which I can’t stand, but I didn’t say anything and I wanted to try it anyway. Yep yellowtail is just not what I like. I’m not really a big fan of salmon either because I think it’s a little slimy but I can work with salmon . The tuna was fantastic! I also ordered the garlic albacore and was very happy with it. These folks do not slice sashimi thin like other places do who want to cut corners also, the green and red sauce with the sashimi was very tasty. The waiter encouraged me to order the teriyaki chicken, which was excellent . I did think the tempura shrimp was a little undercooked, but it was still very good. All in all it was a nice visit and I enjoyed my lunch. I will definitely go back, but not spend that kind of money I did today.
