No idea why this place only has 4.3 stars. This is probably the best Vietnamese food in OC. Pork spring rolls, grilled pork salad, pork vermicelli, all amazing.

I've been here before I moved to Anaheim and I had to come back because remember the sandwiches being so good. Unfortunately, the experience wasn't as pleasant as last time. The second you walk in a horrible odor coming from the bathroom on the right takes over your nostrils I thought for sure i it can't be Soher problems maybe bad eggs or something. Call to find out after asking our waiter. They confirm that they're having some plumbing issues with the bathroom for a while now. How does something like this go on for this long at a restaurant? I'm sure it's a lot more complicated than I know considering that this building is being leased and plumbing is not fully the owners responsibility but the truth is we didn't want to stay and we couldn't wait to leave but we felt bad and we already had sat down. Ordered our food and ate as fast as we can. It's very unfortunate that this is going on. I don't think I would consider coming back because if the plumbing is being ignored for this long, how exactly am I supposed to trust the food that I'm eating? Like if this doesn't bother you what else in your food it doesn't bother you!? Like does anybody ever eat their food in the bathroom? Just to be clear the service there is good. The staff are very kind and understanding.

We have ordered take out once and have eaten here once. I really enjoyed the oxtail pho. There was plenty of meat and the broth was really tasty. My spouse really enjoyed the pork chop special. The garlic noodles were good but the chicken on it was kinda dry and tasteless, despite having a nice color. Overall, we really liked Mama Hong's and look forward to returning.

The food was spectacular! I heard good reviews about this place and wanted to try for myself. The combo pork chop had so much flavor especially when you mix it with the different components on the plate. The trio appetizer was great and had so much different textures. One of the best Vietnamese place in Orange County!

The food is very good and the price is competitive. I love the robot that brings your food. If you order Pho, a person will bring it to your table, so you won't spill it picking it up from the robot shelf.

We love coming here on the regular. Always clean and quick service. Solid food. A little more on the clean and American side vs funky Vietnamese side but this is orange,ca after all. We love the fried tofu appetizer! Always hot and fresh and good flavor. The filet pho is always solid with good quality meat. The robot server is fun for the kid and us as well. Whenever we're too lazy to cook. We can count on mama hongs.
