This was our 1st visit to this restaurant. We did not have a reservation but we were seated anyway. The food was delicious and my husband and I ate every bite!! We will definitely come back!!

A hidden jewel in the circle! Family owned celebrating their 30th year anniversary. The food was delicious perfectly filling and not overwhelmingly heavy. Service was great, prices were very reasonable. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Wonderful the food was delicious as always, and the service was great too. I would highly recommend the chicken dinners, spaghetti, meatballs. All that stuff is actually really good.

This is such a great restaurant! Ben is so awesomeand he helped explained the dishes and recommendations! He was very helpful, friendly, inviting ,his service is fast and he makes sure you're taken care of! I had ordered a Penne Sinatra and my Husband ordered a Lobster Ravioli. Food was made from scratch which was so delicious! Both highly recommend dishes you will not be disappointed! We will highly be returning again!

Unfortunately, the Eggplant Parmesan was rancid, couldn't swallow the first bite. Otherwise it had the look and texture of being authentically prepared. Their tomato sauce is delicious! Gnocchi excellent, chicken parmigiana excellent.

We love this place. Yes, service can be slower... but it's not a major restaurant. The food is great. The prices are awesome! Good ambiance, friendly service.

Cozy Italian bistro with excellent dishes, fresh ingredients, and wonderful staff! The team made us feel special and were attentive throughout the visit. I had the veal Parmesan and it was cooked to perfection. I also loved the minestrone soup! I will definitely be coming back!

It's a cute place, the food is good but not great, but the service can be a little slow. The garlic bread was way too strong. We waited 30 minutes between our appetizers and our entrees. I know it's a small kitchen and the gentleman who served us was very friendly, but there were only two other tables occupied for the majority of our time there so I expected to have our food sooner.

First time here. Came with my parents for an early Christmas celebration. Our food was delicious, the service was great and holy cow, you need to come for the Spumoni ice cream for dessert. It was amazing. The ice cream comes in a large frozen ball that has been dipped in a dark chocolate that creates a crunchy shell. They cut it in half and lightly sprinkle cocoa powder on top for presentation. Warning, it's a healthy serving that you could easily share. I'll do that next time. But I ate mine all myself lol. I couldn't stand the thought of wasting it and leaving half on my plate. So good.

Good food. Used to be better prior to Covid but it's still good. Most restaurants in Old Town are good, not amazing and this is no different.

We dine at many Italian restaurants but none quite like Renata's. Not sure I can convey the difference other than to say dining at Renata's is like dining at someone's home. Someone who is a true Italian and has all of the old school original recipes handed down over the decades. We have been "regulars" at someplace closer but Renata's bumped them out of the rotation. Looking forward to our next visit.

Food was very good. Some may complain that the portions are small, but my wife and I are small eaters and it's nice to have a place that charges a reasonable price commensurate with reasonable portion sizes. We shared the crab stuffed mushrooms and added the garlic bread suggested by the waiter. The garlic bread was a good choice. The mushrooms were very tasty, but I think there may be some false advertising. The crab wasn't real crab, but the stuff they sell at supermarkets as fake crab. Still, very good. We also shared the Veal Saltimbocca which said it had marsala wine in it but, while the dish was good, didn't taste any marsala. Service was very good.
