Sushi Boom had a nice environment, clean and cozy. The sushi, miso soup, were decent, not the best but still enjoyable. And the mochi ice cream was a real treat! ?

Food is mediocre. But the reason for 1 star is because of 2 separate events. Our first time there we ate as a family and I barely had enough cash for the bill plus a 2 dollar tip. The lady at the cashier looked upset over the tip and said "That's it?" I went back to my car to get 2 more dollars in quarters. To which she took, scoffed and put in the tip jar. The second time, my daughter and her friend went and they shared a plate. But when they when they tried to pay the exact price for the meal, the waiter told them to wait and came back saying they didn't pay enough and they needed 1 more dollar. They gave him the dollar and watched him put the dollar in their tip jar. I'm just going to leave it at that, you decide what kind of place you want to eat at.

Sushi was okay. I got the golden tiger roll, baked salmon and baked crawfish. Service was ok, the place was rather empty on a Saturday night. Despite ordering 3 rolls, I was given close to nothing of sriracha sauce. I asked for more but they said they would charge for any additional ones. I had also asked for soy sauce but was not given any.

We enjoyed sushi boom! Came in on a weeknight -Thursday? An hour before closing and It was almost empty. I've driven by before and noted how lively it was and have bookmarked it on yelp to try for some time. Inside it was clean and we saw some parties outside in the patio as well. While the crispy rice with tuna was a little too crispy, I thoroughly enjoyed all the dishes that we ordered and fried. The service was fast and the prices were moderate. We're definitely adding this to our sushi rotation and will be back to try more sushi! Also the parking lot seemed limited, not sure if this lot gets packed in the afternoon-evening time.

I work at the college up the road so Sushi Boom is within a reasonable amount of time to get to. The food is wonderful. The service is usually outstanding. The atmosphere is ok for such a small space. I don't eat a lot of sushi but when I do, it is usually at Sushi Boom.Parking: Parking can be tricky depending on when you visit. There are a few spots out in front of the restaurant and more at the side but they are shared with two other businesses. There is street parking nearby as well.

My boyfriend and I just moved to Orange and we are on a quest to try all the local spots! This was our first start and we were so happy. My boyfriend got the 007 and the 55. He loved them. I got the veggie rolls. Garlic edamame were my favorite I've ever had and I'm pretty picky with my edamame. The parking was easy during the time we went but i can see why it can be an issue other nights. Service was GREAT! We will for sure be coming back!

Overall it was a good experience, however, cleanliness is one of the biggest points for me. The plates that were handed to us were dirty with crust of some sort all over both. Additionally the tables were sticky even after the server cleaned it. As for the food, it was great for AYCE. No complaints there. The price is decent, although I know another spot that doesn't limit the rounds to two for a slightly cheaper cost. I would come back to try it again.

A real hidden neighborhood gem. Been at this location for years and often not noticed. We discovered how great it is on accident. It's worth stopping for if you are a sushi lover.
