Experience the unparalleled allure of Thai Towne Eatery! As a regular patron under the previous management, I was pleasantly surprised by the revitalized experience under new ownership. Finally dining in today, I savored culinary delights beyond compare. Though Rad Na typically features Kai Lan (Chinese broccoli), a dish not listed on their menu, the accommodating owner graciously arranged for its preparation with succulent pork. Given the unavailability of Chinese broccoli, they ingeniously substituted it with finely sliced American broccoli, ensuring it cooked to perfection without losing its delicate texture or altering the genuine Thai taste. The gravy was of sublime flavor. It was neither too thick nor starchy, undoubtedly the best I've ever tasted. And let's not forget the basil chili chicken - medium spicy and utterly divine, surpassing all prior experiences.Situated in Orange near the circle, this hidden "gem" offers authentic Thai cuisine. It prides itself on its friendly staff and exceptional owner who goes above and beyond to cater to patrons' preferences. From the delectable food to the magnificent Thai coffee, every aspect of the experience was flawless. Don't miss out on this culinary marvel - it's where impeccable service meets culinary perfection.**Unfortunately, I was too eager to savor my dishes to pause and capture any photographs.**Vegetarian options: I'm confident that, like any other restaurant, they can tailor their dishes to accommodate your dietary restrictions.

Great Thai food at a reasonable price! They won’t let it out of the kitchen unless it’s fresh and ready to go!

Nice quiet spot for lunch.

It was pretty decent. The fried tofu was prepared nicely in the pad see ew, but the serving size was quite small. The pumpkin curry was a bit runny.

Dr. J - Nomadic Reflections

“Hey, Dr. J here, diving into the world of Thai cuisine at Thai Town Eatery in Old Town Orange, CA. Let’s break it down:First off, the vibe - Thai Town Eatery keeps it straightforward and casual. It’s a pay-at-the-counter kind of place, which I dig for its simplicity and ease. Now, the menu. It’s concise, which can be a plus. You’ve got your curry options, but what stood out to me was their flexibility. I’m a big fan of Pad Krapow, and even though it wasn’t on the menu, they whipped it up for me – major points for customer service!Taste-wise, we’re talking classic Thai flavors - fresh, vibrant, and unpretentious. My Pad Krapow, while not exactly the version I’m accustomed to, was still a solid dish. A bit different, but sometimes different is good.Price point – reasonable, though a tad higher than my Thai food escapades in Chiang Mai (but hey, that’s expected).Final verdict? Thai Town Eatery has its charm. Good food, accommodating staff, and a chill environment. It’s a yes from me – I’ll be back for more!” ??

Brought our adult family here for lunch on a Saturday. It was empty but the food and service was great. It is down a short alley. Our son is gluten free so this was a great option. I would definitely come back.

The potsticker appetizer and fried banana dessert are delicious!! I would’ve given more stars, but the wait was ridiculous. I came on a Saturday night and they only had one person working! They definitely need more staff.

I see the review from Elmer Martin who is Elmer Martin IV. I am Elmer Martin III, his father. I'll add my observations to his as a result of a party I attended at the restaurant. First of all, the location down an interesting alley gives access to both the interior of the restaurant and the courtyard next to it. I parked on the street which had no parking meters which makes the place unique since the location is mid town. During the party my guess is that all of the drinks and food choices available were provided to and shared by the members of the party. I don't know what most of the food items were called but they were all very tasty. Great party place, great food, great service and great location.

Lunchtime service was fast and courteous, yellow curry chicken was perfect. Decor seems unfinished… a mishmash of 50s diner and traditional Thai, and the 80’s jazz music playing in the background was unnervingly disjointed… but definitely worth discovering this tasty gem hidden in the courtyard near the circle.

If you're craving an unforgettable journey for your taste buds, look no further than this hidden gem of a Thai restaurant! From the moment you step through the door, you're transported to the vibrant streets of Thailand, with enticing aromas wafting through the air and warm smiles greeting you. One of the highlights of my dining experience was the Pad Thai. The balance of sweet, tangy, and savory flavors was perfection, with delicate rice noodles complemented by plump shrimp and crispy tofu. Each bite was a harmonious symphony of tastes that left me yearning for more. It's no surprise that this dish is considered a classic!
