Hello, I went to this place with family members and wasn’t pleased with how horrible the service is and food.Firstly, we sat down and saw there was only 2 people already eating and served. So we supposed we would have a waiter right away. Sadly it took them between 8 to 15 minutes to come to our table and give us chips and salsa.Second, it took them 10 minutes to come back for drinks. It’d be nice to have drinks with the appetizers they gave us which was chips and salsa. It took them another 10 to 15 minutes just to grab our drinks. I was very disappointed when the soda we’ve ordered comes in cans you buy from the store and the no refill policy on sodas is outrageous. After we got our drinks, we ordered and was satisfied on how fast they got our food out.To be specific, I ordered Dr Pepper for my drink and for food I ordered number 23 Two Ground Beef Enchiladas with ALL RICE.I said all rice twice to the lady who was our server. Yet, I got a line of rice and a lot of beans. Barely any rice. It’s very disappointing that I’ve told the lady twice for all rice and they failed me.Lastly, they lack with checking up on you to see how you’re doing and everything else. The food also wasn’t that good, the ground beef didn’t have much taste like it should, the rice and beans weren’t tasty.Hopefully this place will improve, l will not be coming back here anymore.

A very simple, very straightforward, family-run Mexican restaurant serving dependably uncomplicated food. This is a great place to have a long conversation with friends, and the wait staff will never try to upsell you.Basic.Simple.Uncomplicated.If you're thinking about visiting here for the first time, the only warning I will give has to do with the parking lot, which is tiny, tight, and sometimes crowded.

My family has been going to Lupita’s for years. It is always a delicious and delightful experience. I am really craving it now which is what prompted me to write this review. Hopefully be back very soon! :)

looked at their online menu and their quesadillas were $4.75, got to the counter and got my food to go and it was $10, and that was just à la carte, disappointed!

Lupita and her entire family has been nothing but a monumental part of my young life (28 years old). My parents and I have been going here since I was a toddler and only liked cheese enchiladas, luckily my taste palette has changed and now everything on Lupitas menu is my secret guilty pleasure! With Lupita doing the absolute best she can by keeping the business open and running after two or three closures (COVID related and a beloved family death) she has not given up nor has the food changed a bit. If you want truly authentic homemade Mexican food that is deeply routed from generations come here! The carne asada burritos are the absolute best as well as their chile rellenos! Hours have changed from Wednesday - Sunday from 11am to 8pm as of this post. Please do note if it is slow just like any family business she may close earlier around 8pm because momma/grandma can only do so much!

Google directions were incorrect. Directions indicated we turn into the Shell station. The restaurant is further west on Greenback.

I have been dining at Lupitas for half of my life. I have always loved the food and service here. So glad she is still open.

They need spicy, when you have a spicy craving, you think Mexican or Thai. Both are different types of hots ?, so you go to the one you want. This place didn't have spicy salsa. But the nice waitress did bring a pepper to compensate for spice. I went in the middle of the day, and they are already serving dinner, so the type of burritos were limited to two meats or bean burrito. They charge $2 more for steak, which is crazy. I understand shrimp $3 more, but there are too many Mexican restaurants everywhere that don't charger more for steak. Not to fond of can soda when I'm in a restaurant! I expect if you want to stay in business for very long, then invest in the better and important things like fountain drinks. I mean that's the same product you find eating out of a trailer. Other then that, the atmosphere was nice and quiet, the air seemed clean because the place was well kept and clean. ?
