Awesome food for Orinda but recently raised the prices on burritos. Super expensive now

Was pretty quick to order nice people. The food not that great. The food tasted not authentic. If I wanted a bland burrito I could of made it my self. The salsa though was fantastic. The guy that was running the register was handling money and putting chips into bags. I think that is gross. The chips tasted like the ones you get at the gas station you put nacho cheese on.

This was my third visit and last.I really had low expectations going in.Tried something new that even a catering truck can do.I ordered 2 grilled steak tacos(on menu) minus guacamole.I received 2 shredded beef tacos (not on menu) in Taco Bell shells. Unseasoned stringy beef and a whole lot of cheese glued to the shell with a sprinkle of salsa Fresca.Barely got it down.Growing up around a predominantly Hispanic culture and living in California I think I know a little something about Mexican foodI left for business and returned home and gave them a call.My answer from them was“Nobody else complains”I said “ fair enough but can you tell me how 2 tacos @ $3.95 + tax = $11.50Answer: I don’t know the machine does it. Sorry.I’m sorry you have to do that.

Best mole sauce ever! Nice chunks of meat in the enchiladas and burrito, too.

Maya Mexican Grill is our go-to spot for lunch in Orinda. Unassuming, friendly, reasonably priced and delicious. The pork chile verde super burrito hits the spot every time.

I've only had the Ranchero Chicken burrito, and it is perfection. The chicken is so tender and flavorful, it feels like it melts in your mouth. I eat one every week.

Slow even when not busy!!Condiment salsa bar messy, limes looked old and dried out, jalapeños and carrots are always gone. When asked if they had anymore they always say sorry we do not.
