Great Chinese food… fresh ingredients, delicious sauces… my favorite East Bay Chinese restaurant after Great China in Berkeley. (??) (please lower the lighting inside, too bright… :)

Service good, ambience good, food not so good...ordered won ton soup, the broth was good the won ton wrappers very good, the filling was no good at all. Little rubber like morsels of unidentifiable product. It's my last time.

My favorite Chinese restaurant in Lamorinda. The chef has exceptional skill and will often make regional dishes at our request that aren't on the menu. I've yet to try a dish there I wouldn't order again. Highlights for me are their salt and pepper dishes and their soups. Generous portions and friendly atmosphere paired with excellent food make Yu Bistro a regular part of our rotation.

The menu pictures here are old and inaccurate. They made what I ordered because they do that for the customer, but since it was off-menu, it was expensive; my fault. Still, made super fresh, probably the best egg foo young I'll ever have.

Amy was our server. She's an absolute delight and very helpful. I felt so welcome. She was beyond gracious. We had a mandarin lamb dish which was delicious and we had mushu chicken. The wraps were done by the chef before they came to the table. We were offered extra plum sauce which was delicious. When I am in this area I will definitely come back. The ambience of the restaurant is so peaceful and pleasant. We had a late lunch. It was peaceful and quiet. I'll give it five stars.♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

Impressive. The high-quality ingredients used result in noticeably fresh flavors and textures. The lamb souvlaki was cooked to order, and the thin-cut French fries were expertly fried and seasoned with black pepper.

The food has gone down hill. We ordered noodles and they were in little pieces. No long pieces When I complained they said that's the was it is. It should not be hard to make a chow mein but this had no flavor. When they changed ownership a few years ago they lost quality. I gave them a try once before and the food also was not up to par. I should have just gone home and cooked. Boxed ramen would have been better than their chow mein.

The best egg flower soup ever! Wonderful distinct tastes in each of the dishes we ordered: Szechuan beef, fried fish, and eggplant with tofu.
