First time here 1/19/2024. The food is ok, had a lot better mexican elsewhere, had to try this place because I've been hearing about it...something I won't be back for...not impressed here.

Found by chance and so grateful! We had the tamales meal,I lloved all of the tamales, my husband did not care for the beef tamales, though that is a personal preference. Loved the rice, beans, salsa and chip's. People friendly, very reasonably priced. Art work beautiful.

This food was definately not authentic and it has me thinking the four star reviews are fake. My mom got a super enchilada, carnasada, and the tortilla was not chewable and tasted bland. My brother got tamales, didn’t taste like a tamale, more like plastic. I also had a super chimichanga and the food tasted dry. They told me the salsa was homemade but it tasted more like out of a can. Not good at all?? horchatas was kinda good but could have some more help

I’m new to Oroville and originally from Sacramento. I’m also Mexican American. With all that being said my standards for Mexican food are very high! So here’s my honest review. We ordered chicken tamales, a chicken chimichanga, and a super enchilada aka a wet burrito. The tamales taste like a wet napkin. The chimichanga was decent. My super enchilada was bland and I’m sure the “mole sauce” came from a can. I agree with the other reviews that say tortilla is hard to cut and hard to chew. The most frustrating part was when I called and asked if the horchata was made in house and she said yea it’s “fresh.” Come to find out they use a premix and it came from a fountain dispenser. Not worth spending almost $50. On a positive note I received good customer service as she recommended a Mexican market located in a near by town and she held the door open for me. I would not recommend this place if you have high standards.

Super friendly, super fast, and great value for the money. Got the super burrito and the pork plate with combo tortillas corn/flour. the plate came with one spicy sauce and two salsa with bag of chips.... more than a meal. I want to go back for their breakfast.

I work in that area so I bounce around all the mexican cuisines and I've finally settled with this place as my favorite!

Food was great! Had nachos and sopes, Very flavorful! Horchata was also good, service was fast you get chips and salsa complimentary and the salsa medium heat. Food came out very fast and the workers are very friendly. Will come back again and try more.

Nice little restaurant but the food was mediocre. The customer service was good. Got an Al pastor super burrito but it was the size of a regular burrito. The Al pastor meat was also very hard and too salty.

Food was pretty good but my burrito was cold Tuesday cheese didn't get melted service not too bad. They're patient with me atmosphere. All you gotta do is look at the photo. Overall overall I'd go there again.
