I've been coming here for years and the food is consistently excellent. The BBQ has that "bark" that you only get from long hours in the smoker but is tender and succulent at the same time. They also make good sandwiches (try the Philly cheese steak) and burgers (the BBQ burger w/avocado is my favorite). And they have a surprisingly good selection of fish dishes too including a seafood gumbo that is excellent.Outdoor dining at picnic tables or take-away are your only options. They closed their indoor dining room during the pandemic and remodeled to expand the kitchen instead.

I spent nearly $50 on a take out order. I asked for a couple BBQ sauces and was told that they were $0.50 each. I had a dollar so I gave it to them and they said 2 sauces would be $1.09 with tax. So I just took 1. I don't think I will be returning here.

They use to be the place to go to. Unfortunately, most of their sides appear to be canned while they charge way too much for very small amounts, including their sauces. I would suggest this place to get food for meetings, but it's unreasonable for the amount they now serve. The lady that works there is very nice and pleasant but it doesn't make up for the food that is very lacking.

If you can read the receipt then I'm sure you're as blown away as I am. $28 and some change for that little tray and a drink ?. I could have got past it maybe if the food blew me away but it didn't. I'd say one notch above the worst BBQ I've had. Baked beans were good and the slaw was ok but a different taste I've never had before. The ribs were good but only got three little ones and the chicken breast was horrible. Dry and it tasted like it was cooked with no seasonings some bbq sauce slapped on and pushed out. I didn't finish the chicken. I seen a lot of reviews about the tri tip sandwich and I would have probably went back and tried to give the place a fair chance but their prices are so insane I'd feel like a fool going back.

We got the tri-tip, ribs and rib tips with macaroni, corn bread and rolls. I was expecting juicy, well seasoned meat. I got the bbq sauce on the side and that was a mistake. All the meat was plain with no flavor. I was so disappointed. The bbq sauce was good so I drenched the meat with it, which shouldn't be necessary. The macaroni and rolls were good, the corn bread a little dry and the service was great. Overall, I would not go back.

I go with my wife to this place quite a bit! This is my favorite place to pass a nice evening. I visit this spot routinely. The cooking is just great, the staff is friendly and the prices are decent. I enjoy eating in this restaurant for a rich meal.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING.... I came home from work and had the slow smoked chicken and it was delicious! The chicken came right off the bone and it was extremely mouth watering! Def recommend

I wanted to really love this place, I did love the quick and speedy service. There was always a bus boy standing by to take your extra plates or trash.

Overpriced, skimpy on sauce barely tasted sauce. Would’ve given 3stars but service was not friendly.

Food is delicious. Cowboy John knows how to BBQ

Way overpriced. A can of coke and order of maybe 15 fries was $8.00!
