Always enjoy trying new places and Golden Egg was next on my list. Hostesses were great and patio seating provided a nice setting. My big drawback was the food. I decided to try the chicken and waffles as it's a simple meal that reminds me of home.Unfortunately, my waffle came out very over done and flat as if the batter was over mixed or just sitting for too long.May try again down the road.
Fantastic breakfasts with a view! They have indoor seating as well as outdoor seating on a lovely patio overlooking the marina. The eggs benedict are the best - served with 3 eggs instead of the usual miserly 2 you get elsewhere. The multigrain pancakes are delicious and super filling, and I got them with some of the best turkey sausage I ever had. Prices are very reasonable for all the food you get. This is a family run place, so very homey, and service was warm and friendly. Highly recommended!

So when I go to eat somewhere I hope for food better than what I can make. Their pancakes tasted like they used Bisquick to make them! The potatoes were tasteless! I could have done a better job at home! Don't bother going there unless you are willing to pay for low grade food.

Golden Egg quickly became on of my favorite places to grab breakfast at the harbor and read a book. Its so pleasant to hang out and view the harbor, the boats, and the weather while having a nice cup of coffee.I am a massive omelet fan and this place hits the spot every time. Their french toast is delish and their banana bread is stellar.
