Really wanted to like this place. After multiple attempts, the coffee is alright. The service is a** I never get a warm welcome here, it takes forever for the cashier/barista to acknowledge me. I assume they just want me to use the self ordering kiosk. Whatevs. Cute location, with mid service. I’m sticking to the Coffee Bean, where the employees are welcoming and the coffee is consistent. ?

Coffee is just ok, egg sandwiches are pretty good, but the service has been too up & down. This time I had to wait 5 minutes for two of the three staffers to have a fun conversation with a visiting friend, making them forget my order. When they finally started & finished it, they got the order wrong three ways. No apologies, not a word. But they did give me a free black hair that I had to pull out of my teeth, so that was fun. Unfortunately I flossed already this morning so I didn’t need this one.

I wish they’d partner with local roasters and used local produce.

Nice location. There are many coffee, food and pastry options. Inside and outside seating. Lots of parking. Grab a coffee and take a stroll on the harbor, beautiful! I had a cold brew coffee with lavender sweet cold foam & a sandwich.

So disappointed with the customer service today. I live across the street (basically.) This place doesn’t have great coffee (unless you put tons of sweetener and cream, in which case anything is fine). I normally drive to Starbucks, right past Honey Cup. Today I was running late for a work Zoom call. I drive over there, but realized after I ordered that I left my wallet at home. The server walked away, so I could have just taken my coffee and left without paying. But I flagged down the not-so-bright other woman and explained that I was late for a Zoom call, and I could come back in about half an hour to pay. She very condescendingly explained I couldn’t walk off with the merchandise without paying. I am staying in in my multi-million dollar second home ACROSS THE STREET. I am not taking your $3+ coffee without paying for it. I pointed out that she was just going to throw it away. She confirmed that without the least bit of irony. So, she would rather throw it away than let me come back with money. Service fail. I ended up doing my Zoom call from the parking lot at Starbucks on Channel Islands Blvd.I have sent tourists there for coffee and ice cream when asked numerous times. Not anymore. “Gee, I don’t know where you can get coffee or ice cream.”Hate the coffee and now I hate the customer service.

Coffee is from a pre-brewed large patch added with creamer. Watery and flavorless. Which makes me question what they even have those espresso machines, just for show? Latte isn't pre-made drip brew mixed with creamer. It's specifically espresso mixed with steamed whole milk for its signature rich texture. Absolute fail for a coffeehouse. I don't usually say this lightly but. I think I rather have Starbucks. As for the environment. The speaker in which they're playing music with is by far the WORST I've ever heard. Constant redlining makes my ear hurt. Makes me wonder if it was a half-broken speaker picked out from the back of a goodwill for free.Service was... ok? Nothing to write home about. Not bad. Not great.
