Gem hiding in plain sight. Craving seafood after a show, we checked out Julian's Aguachiles. We were greeted with a smile from a friendly waitress. The chips and salsa tasted homemade. My daughter's meal came out first. I'm a critic when it comes to side beans. I can tell if they are homemade or not. These side beans were perfect. I could eat an entire plate of just beans. The presentation of the shrimp Aguachiles is picture worthy. The taste was nicely seasoned without being overpowering hot. My husband's beef soup was the perfect combination to dial down the heat. Word of caution: once the heat is gone, you will be craving for more. Looking forward to trying different options on the menu.
The food was great and all the staff worked with ☺. Even though our crowd and church attendees had every chair full and the noise wS a bit loud at times the staff shared their love of God thru their service. I'm returning soon.

I can't recommend this place highly enough! The food and service are excellent and we can't wait to go back. This was our first experience with aguachiles and they are already a favorite, something different from the usual Mexican fare. Try this place and you won't regret it!
Some friends and I went for lunch for the first time here, and it was good. Julian, the owner, was very nice and he played good Mexican music! Loved that! ???☝️

This is ABSOLUTELY NOT a 5-star restaurant, but their service is friendly enough that I hate to give it 3 stars just to bring it down to earth, so it gets a true 4. The good: lightly sweet agua frescas; truffle (!) dirty rice; homemade nachos and tortillas; and aguachiles shrimp texture. The less-good: meat is a little tough; not a single sauce is spicy, not the salsa, the habanero, or even the chiles on the side; and the tabasco-adjacent aguachile sauce.
