Mostly a takeaway restaurant, it still has many tables, chairs available for those that wish to enjoy the food there, but on a Sunday, expect the place to be full. Ordered a pound of carnitas and two dozen corn tortillas; was not disappointed in the quality of the food or the friendliness of the staff. I also enjoyed the jimica, which was refreshing.

The ice cream is not even cold ,melts right away and it has that shaved ice feel on the ice cream de leche when it feels like it's old .It used to be good now they are just running on the name ,I went to get bread on a Saturday morning (9am ish) and they hardly had any fresh bread out, most of the bread they had was from the day prior.

Oh nostalgia... I used to come here as a kid with my mom so I decided to walk through memory lane. I looked at the food and walked out. Nothing looked appetizing to me. Also they go Los Reyes out and made their own ice cream a few years back but no esta buena! It's just not what I remember anymore :/ Still a 3 for all the memories with fam and it's an iconic building in Oxnard that I hope stands forever. I hope the quality improves though or maybe I shouldn't judge at first sight. I eat with my big eyes first though. I will attempt to come back. No friendly greeting as it was busy but not worries:) La Gloria is a popular place as it offers, ready to go food, produce and other groceries. I believe it's now run by Cuatro Caminos.

Great place to pick up a freshly pressed juice and sit in the cool shade of their tranquil courtyard while waiting on your ride at the Oxnard Transit Center…
