They took too long to prepare the food, the food was not hot, maybe the waitress has too many tables and the food was waiting too long to be brought to the table, they need more employees during their peak hours and on days with many customers, long wait for be seated

The food is very good, but it seems very strange to me. You see, order mixed fajitas and it will turn out that the beef is pure scraps of cuts of other meats. I mean pure skins. The worst of all is that when I mentioned it to the manager of the restaurant told us that the cook said that that was what there was and that if I didn't like it I should order something else...the lack of preparation on the part of the "owners" towards their managers is regrettable apart from showing a lot of disinterest in the* clientele* and just as I had this experience in a place as big as Lalo's, coincidentally my friends recently had an unpleasant experience with a manager, a girl who I cannot understand how they can have someone like this in their business. I encourage you to prepare your staff in a better way. professional I hope the owners see it although I doubt it it is my opinion it does not carry the intention of anything negative only

Went here for the first time. Visited Oxnard for the first time too. The inside of the restaurant is very cozy, very welcoming. Our waitress was friendly. She brought us chips and salsa as an appetizer. I ordered the Torta Ahogada (Guadalajara), and it was my first torta Ahogada ever and it was the most delicious thing ever. My drink was an horchata. They have a large menu for you to spend minutes deciding what you want.
