First of all, great food! I did not dress in super nice clothes, but everyone was friendly and the service was great. Definitely a great place to go anytime, and especially if you are dressed up and ready to seize the day. I was there on a slow night, so plenty of tables, no wait, and a quiet, relaxing atmosphere. I enjoyed the experience. I was on travel in the Oxnard area, and I plan to add Larsen's to the list of places I need to visit again. Thank you!Parking: Park behind the restaurant. Plenty of open spots, short walk. Street parking in front is difficult to secure.

We treated some friends for your birthday and they were so blessed. We shared the specials, the Tomahawk and 16 filet mignon chateaubriand. So good, tender and flavorful. These guys don't do steak like this and thought they needed A1. lol I assured them here we don't use that and after eating he realized why.

The staff was very friendly and engaged from the moment we walked in. The ambiance was lovely, clean, great piano player. Food was delicious and well presented. The manager was awesome, he came by our table and introduced himself and made sure everything was okay.. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Great overall dining experience!

The Manager (male) was excellent and very accommodating. He assisted wherever it was necessary. I have been here several times and it seemed as if they were short staff last night. The table server we had was average. The best server in the restaurant is Francisca, but she must have been off last night. The food was good, nothing fantastic. The food is grossly overpriced for the amount and quality you receive. Again, the gentlemen manager could not have been Moore accommodating.

5-Star service across the board from the staff and management team and the food was fantastic. We chose the Chilean Sea Bass and the Wet, Aged Prime Filet Mignon entrees and both were delicious.

Incredibly slow food service, which was surprising given the specialty limited menu for Valentines Day - only 3 options. Spent about an hour waiting between salad and entree. When it arrived it was warm, not hot, but we didn't want to send it back and potentially wait another hour. When it was time for dessert the server asked if we even wanted it or wanted it in a doggie bag becuase we'd been there over 2 hours. I still wanted the dessert so they brought it, and it was good, but the slow food really put a damper on an expensive meal.

I've been to Larsen's before and enjoyed it so it took me by surprise when I came this time and was given subpar service. The waiter was more attentive to other patrons although we were all paying the same up charged value given that it was Valentine's Day. I ordered a well done steak and received medium well. I did not complain because I wanted to give the benefit of the doubt that they were busy but it was nonetheless disappointing. My partner and I had also ordered drinks early on in the evening and not only did they not come out until we'd almost finished our meal but we had to remind the waiter who'd forgotten. My partners drink was deducted from the bill but not mine even though it still came out 10 minutes after his. Overall disappointing and will not be coming back to this location.

I came here with my husband for the first time to celebrate his birthday. Our entire experience was excellent! Food was delicious and we even got to enjoy the Superbowl without it being too hectic. Our waitress Fernanda was amazing and very sweet. I absolutely loved the ambience and inviting feel we got as soon as we entered. We will be returning.

Birthday dinner was great! The tomahawk was cooked to perfection and its flavor was delicious. The house made steak sauce was so buttery. The raspberry lemon drop drink was also very good, flavorful but not of our liquor. The macaroni and cheese was so creamy and the pasta cooked well. I would definitely recommend dining at Larsen's and I will be returning.
Service was great with Caitlyn, but after she left, didn't see our new server. Ordered the Porterhouse, flavor was great, meat tougher than I was expecting. Cocktails were perfect, Yale is a great bartender!

What an excellent steakhouse. The service was over the top!! Catering to one's every need. It's so nice to treat yourself special at such an exquisite upscale restaurant. We will be going back soon.

Two long-time friends took me to Larsen's for dinner for my birthday. I had a The Burger and it was excellent, definitely birthday-dinner quality. The fries (which I ordered unsalted) were "okay" but could have been crispier. I don't recall what my friends ordered, but I know they both were very happy with their meals. One of them has some food allergy problems. The waiter was attentive to that and made notes on the order for the kitchen. Seems like the restaurant did a good job with that request. The wait staff and the manager politely checked in a reasonable number of times at our table. After we finished, one of my friends mentioned to the waiter it was my birthday. He scurried off and returned in a flash with a tasty dessert item with 3 spoons. The 3 of us had not seen each other for quite a while and had LOTS to talk about and stuff to show-n-tell. We had the table tied up longer than we should have, but no one bothered us about leaving. That was nice. I appreciate that. My only complaint is the noise level when the restaurant was full of customers. A blend of lots of voices a bit too loud impinged on easy conversation at our table. Not obnoxious, not a deal breaker. And the fact that we could hang out relaxing and chatting for more than a couple hours WAY more than makes up for it. Big thumbs up for last night's experience at Larsen's!

Went on Saturday night, 1/20 for our anniversary, great service, great meal, baby-back ribs, chop salad, Pumpkin had the portabella sandwich, finished with butter cake, our favorite desert, anywhere.
