Stopped by to get some beef and teriyaki chicken bowls before a trip to the beach. The food was delicious and a good amount for the price. The gentleman that took our order was very nice. We will be back when have another beach day.

The service was welcoming, and fast; however the food, not so good. I had a Teriyaki chicken bowl. The meat was old, and large slices of cabbage to appear you had more, and hardly no rice. Really disappointed at $ 9.00, Yikes!
I have been going here for a while, and this place has the best Chinese food in Oxnard, highly recommend! I recommend getting the teriyaki sauce on the side, since this place can be a bit heavy on the sauce. Overall great service and the owner is very friendly. Hot garlic sauce is delicious, as well as the noodles.

I called in my order because I was in a rush. The man who answered the phone was very nice and said it would be ready when I arrived. I got to the restaurant maybe 5 min after I placed my order and it was all ready to go when I walked in. The same man who took my order was the one at the cash register. He was extremely nice and offered me a cup of water after I declined to order a drink. I recently moved back to the area and was surprised at how much food I got. I got a small chicken teriyaki bowl for just over $7. It was the size of a large chicken bowl in the San Fernando valley and about $4 cheaper! It was nice and hot and definitely satisfied my craving. I will definitely be back and have already recommended it to some of my friends and family.

Yesterday I was looking through my bookmarks for a place to eat lunch. I saw this place on the list and thought, wow, I have no recollection of saving this spot. Where is this place? It was an hour past lunchtime, and I was hungry as hell. I checked out a couple reviews and some photos and decided I would check it out. I was in the mood for Teriyaki Chicken. When I say in the mood, I mean, I need some teriyaki chicken over here right got damn now! LOLSo I use the convenient Directions button right there on the business' Yelp page and start my drive over. Get off on Rose. Turn right on Auto Center Drive. Wait, what? These are the directions to Costco. I'm thinking, Did Costco just open a Teriyaki Chicken bowl outlet? Alas, no. This wonderful little hole in the wall restaurant is in a strip mall kind of location just like a couple blocks before you get to Costco. Over by Guitar Center.Ima tell you what's so wonderful about this place: the chicken bowl is big and gob-smacking delicious. First let's talk about size. Even the small bowl is big. Lots and lots of moist tender chicken (I'm guessing thigh meat). Plus veggies (two broccoli florets, a nice slice of cabbage and a carrot slice), served on your choice of noodles or rice, or 50/50. All topped with the perfect amount (a lot) of delicious sauce. OK, just finding a delicious bowl like this is a wonderful thing, But now consider the price: $6.95 plus tax. Phenomenal deal. The small bowl has so much food jammed in there it was two whole lunches for me. I mean, it wasn't even like i was trying to stretch the order. I was hungry as hell when I tore into that sucker yesterday and I ate until I felt full. And that turned out to be half the bowl. Had the second half today, Two lunches for $7 something. This place is definitely going in my lunch restaurant rotation. One more thing:I was on a mission to get me some Teriyaki Chicken. But that didn't happen. I saw all these reviews mentioning House-made Hot Garlic Sauce Chicken. At the last minute I changed my order and went with the Hot Garlic Sauce. Best decision ever! That Hot Garlic Sauce is straight fire. According to Joe at the front counter, the chicken bowls here are the same if you order Teriyaki or Hot Garlic Sauce. They just give you the sauce in little plastic cups. You get a couple little cups per order. That sauce is so good I took a piece of chicken and used it to get every little bit of sauce out of the little cups. Then I took my finger and tried to get more out of it. But I stopped there. I didn't use my tongue to try to lick out every last molecule of sauce. Ok, I used my tongue to lick out every last molecule of sauce. That's how good that damn sauce is.Mikey C says: I can't wait to go back to New Chicken Bowl Teriyaki
