A fun, casual place to have cocktails with friends or have a nice meal for a date night. Great food, service and drinks!

Really good food . I really liked the variety, great service and they had the best Manhattan style clamp chowder I've evervhad.

So good! The food is fantastic. We had the quarter onion break (plenty for 2-3) the chowder and some steaks along with the goober pie for dessert. It was delicious. Loved the down to earth atmosphere. Great vibe. It's a dress down, comfortable good eats location. Service was friendly and prompt. It didn't look like much but it's great.

1 1/4 hours from the time we got seated to when our food arrived on a Wednesday @ 5 pm, with no cocktails. ?‍♂️

My husband, daughter and I visited the restaurant on a Wednesday night around 6:45pm. We had a sweet waitress and the host was attentive. Our barbecue tri tip sandwiches were good and our daughter's salad was also well prepared. HOWEVER...It was not crowded and at 7:35pm... WE STILL DID NOT HAVE OUR FOOD!!!!!! They do a great take out business , but they're in-restaurant service leaves a lot to be desired... Whoever is organizing the orders and what's happening in the kitchen, needs to address how in-person dining patrons are treated. The service or lack of was the reason for the rating.

I came here last night and was blown away by how delicious the food was. I had the tri-tip topped with Gorgonzola cheese dinner. It was exquisite. Uhhhh..... .Y-U-M!!!!! The meat was nice and tender, juicy and easy to chew. Flavorful and cooked to perfection. When the waiter brought it out, I could taste it just by the way it smelled. It was super delicious. I didn't care much for the calamari appetizer. It was okay. The salad was fresh and was a good serving. I ended the night with the mudslide chocolate cake. It was perfect!!!! Esthetics 3 out of 5 stars Food: 5 out of 5 stars Customer Service: 5 out of 5 stars HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

This neighborhood restaurant is a hidden gem of culinary delight without the fancy decor or elegant ambiance. But don't let it's modest looks cool you. The chef knows how to make amazing comfort food! The owner has a random special menu that features some real crowd pleasers like his amazing and generously sized country fried steak with mashed potatoes and gravy plus a side of mixed veggies or on the regular menu you can find fall of the bone ribs that are finger licking goodness! The wedge was also generously sized with half a head of iceberg and delicious dressing, warm bacon crumbles, red onion slivers and chopped tomatoes. We finished with a baked-to-order chocolate cookie and vanilla ice cream....amazing!!! And let's not forget their drinks. I had a mule that was with orange Kettle One, wow! Maddie was our super-friendly and helpful server! We can't sing this restaurant's praises enough! Keep up the good work, guys!!

We didn't eat in the restaurant, we did takeout. When we picked up the food the place had a GREAT vibe and I was instantly disappointed we weren't eating there. However, we had a large crowd that would not fit at one table one of whom was a 2.5-year-old who was too overtired from his long day at the beach to be able to exist in a restaurant. The food we took home was good. Not great, but good. I'd recommend eating at the restaurant. Tell me how it was!

Used to be good now not so much. Food is ok but expensive. They used to give you a tray of veggies to dip while waiting for your dinner. That was good because they are slow.

Was in the mood for a steak and found this hidden gem here on Yelp. Must have driven by it a dozen times without noticing. Unpretentious, roomy inside, a throw back to the old days of family dining with a great menu. The service was really great, even with a fuller house, the server took great care of me, food came fast and beverage was never empty. Friendly staff. Little touch, like a large dish of butter and sour cream and chives for the baked potato.....awesome. New York Steak was great, cooked right and didn't take more than 15 min from order to table. Looking forward to going back next time I'm in the Channel Islands neighborhood.

A little hole in the wall ... right up my alley. Tucked away at the end of Pt Hueneme, mostly locals. Booths might be.a bit tarnished & the crowd is mostly in flip flops & have had a few shots before dining ... MY KIND OF PLACE. Food is old school comfort food and GOOD! I've had the ribs, fall off the bone. I've had the spaghetti and meatballs 2x! (I order it with meat sauce as well). Tonight it's a Philly with beans and slaw. Worth the drive if you want a bit of old school reality. Don't expect Larsens ... know your craving. Staff - super cool.
