The Octoberfest and Milk Stout are exceptional. Excellent service and welcoming ambience - a local pub tucked into a strip mall. Hidden gem if ever there was one.

We happened upon the Red Tandem Brewery while riding our bikes in Oxnard on our anniversary weekend getaway. A band was setting up in the parking lot just outside. So we got a couple of beers and copped a squat on the curb to listen! The beer and the band was called The Hairy Monks, and both were very enjoyable! We even bought a 4-pack to bring home with us! If you're in the Oxnard area, I recommend you checking them out!
I absolutely love this place. They are friendly and knowledgeable about their beers. What a great local micro brewery. They only make and serve epic beers. You can bring your favorite foods or go next door and order takeout to enjoy with your favorite brew. I highly recommend you give them a try.

Little neighborhood Brewery with minimal selection of beers. But that's good, you get to try all beers. Pictured is a Bacteria Sour that I had to try just because of the name. Delicious!

An absolutely, amazing little local brewery. Chill atmosphere, great mix of locals and visitors who are extremely warm and welcoming. Top Notch beers with a good selection including stout, IPA blondes and lagers. Ms. Jo is truly wonderful and makes you feel at home from the 1st moment you walk through the door. I only get out this way every year or so, but each time I walk back in its like I was here yesterday. If you are craft brewery fanactic like myself, you MUST put this place on your to do list while exploring the Central Cali Coast.

I'm a home brewer and I have been to over two hundred breweries all over California, Oregon, Washington, Virginia, Texas, and Japan. Red Tandem is my favorite! The beer is always made well and it's always delicious. The atmosphere is laid back and the regulars are fun and friendly. The owner is lovely and a very skillful brewer. I had a lot of fun discussing her beers and geeking out over the flavor profiles. If I didn't live four hours away I would be there every weekend!

What a great microbrewery! This is a hidden gem, just a few blocks from Channel Islands Harbor but in a nondescript strip mall. Don’t be fooled by the location; they are brewing some great beer in this little location. We sampled 3 beers and all were very good to great. My favorite of the three was Tandem Belgiam Dubbel, which is also the owners’ favorite. It’s smooth and flavorful with no bitterness. We also tried Machete Mojo Red IPA, which is a red IPA (first red IPA I’ve ever tried and one of the best IPAs I’ve had). The third was SoCal Milk Stout Nitro and it was smoooooooooth. There are free pretzels and other basic snacks. If you go on the weekend, there will probably be a food truck. There are several tables and more tables outside so you can enjoy a nice Oxnard sea breeze. Cheers!
