Horrible service great mariachi though... and music after. I waited 2hrs for my breakfast and 2 hours for a watered down drink. Don't get the cantarito way. The jarritos drinks are bomb and prickly pear margarita excellent!!

Food and atmosphere were awesome and hesitated on the rating for service. The ONE server working as both waitress and bartender was great but service was slow due to not enough staff. I will say her attitude and the food made the wait worth it!

Well, first of all it's been about 6 months since I've gone...but I went by yesterday around 3 and they changed their hours!!! So instead of opening at noon, they now open at 4. So now the 3-6 Happy hour is now 4-6 happy hour....a 2 hour "So call happy hour".....?????.....What happened??? I miss the old place!!

To start off, the concept of bringing sushi and tacos together sounds a little silly but it's a concept well executed by Sushiway. You're in Oxnard where you can find some of the best mexican food in the whole country, so yes the tacos, burritos, and other mexican dishes are great! The sushi is good as well! I've been coming here for years and I have loved their popcorn shrimp and vegetable roll. This last time I came I ordered Lobster taquitos which were amazing 10/10, I also ordered some yellowtail poke tacos which were good but not my favorite, I'm sure I would've liked the salmon ones better, then I had the El Flamin Diablo roll which was pretty good I would give it an 8/10, my friend ordered the Godzilla which was also an 8/10 for me as well. I come here pretty often for their drinks as well and I love their margaritas but my favorite drink is called La Toxica (which is basically an amf/long island). The service is always great and quick, it's why I've came here for such a long time and why I will continue to come. The ambiance is pretty good and fun as well, they're usualy playing reggaeton or sometimes they have live bandas or grupos playing. So yeah I would recommend this place for good food and a good time!

The dining experience at SushiWay is amazing every time. The host and waitresses are super friendly and knowledgeable. The music is a bit too loud, but maybe it's tailored to the young crowd. Overall, this restaurant provides quality food and service.

It's definitely a younger person's hangout. I had to leave as the live band was starting up; too loud to hold any conversion after that.My friend liked his yakisoba dish. I got the salmon poké bowl... it was fine, but boring. It was a huge scoop of rice with a few saucy salmon chunks atop. The only poké I've ever had before that (at a different place) had so much more going on as far as ingredients and flavors.

Went in on a Sunday for brunch for my husband's birthday. The food is very authentic. Large menu many options to choose from. It is loud if you want a quiet romantic brunch this is not the place. They have a DJ and Mariachi's playing while you're eating. Very happy atmosphere. Will definitely go back again and recommend it to my family and friends!

I had a great time there this past weekend. They had some good music and good crowd with a reggae band. I will say, though that the bartenders as overwhelmed as they were, they were very polite and friendly, including a shout out to a young bartender girls. Alma attended to us & was quick. They looked overwhelmed but she was on point! Definitely will be back at that bar and hope they add reggae into the entertainment.

The ambiance is definitely one to remember. If you're a fan of neon lights, reggaeton music, and a live dj, this is a fun place to grab some food and drinks with friends. Servers were very welcoming as soon as we walked through the door. Our favorite order was the street tacos. 9/10. However, we've had better sushi. We also had to ask for a separate saucer for my soy sauce and wasabi while they brought out numerous sauces for the sushi. I appreciated the wide range of sauces but I was not used to it. Both rolls would be a 6/10. Nothing too exciting and the choices were not our cup of tea.

Fun place, good food and drinks...great atmosphere! Our 1st time here, got there around 5pm and only a couple tables were taken so we got seated right away. we ordered Lobster taquitos: Langostino, cream cheese, and pepper jack cheese. topped with wasabi guacamole, pico de gallo, and jalapeno ranch...these were really good and great appettizer to start. We got there for happy hour so I ordered a strawberry margarita which was good for the price. Our waitress recommended the "All the buzz" drink with vodka, cucumbers, honey and lemon...if you like sweet then this would be perfect; i really enjoyed it. We then ordered a sushi roll to share; the "que rico" roll with shrimp, cream cheese, jalapeño, avocado topped with spicy shrimp and crab meat with spicy mayo and eel sauce...this was really good, great size. We ordered another roll but unfortunately either our waitress forgot to put the order in or someone forgot to make it, she came back to our table twice to say it was coming but after 30 mins it never made it to our table. I ordered another "all the buzz" drink while waiting but we couldn't wait anymore and decided to cancel the order and call it a night. I was disappointed especially since it was our 1st time and had high hopes. I was really enjoying our time and the food and drinks but it seemed like no one cared that we were waiting that long. That is why i give it 3 stars. The place was not busy so not sure what happened however our waitress was nice and helpful.

I took my wife to this place for a lunch date to try it out. We gave the food a B-/C+ rating. We ordered the spicy edamame as an appetizer, one of their signature rolls (El Fantasma), shrimp tempura hand roll and a snow roll. The spicy edamame was a little salty. This signature roll was very tasty with good flavor. The shrimp tempura hand roll was ok and the snow roll lacked a little flavor. We will go back and order some of their other items to give it another chance. On a side note, we went there as they opened and I used the restroom right before we left. Restroom was dirty as if it was not cleaned from the night before. Also tagging in the bathroom stall. For a newer establishment I expected a little better facilities. I would hate to have to use the restroom on a busy night.

I went for the first time today and I was very impressed how nice its on the inside. they had aDJ inside the dining area. It was very loud and half of the time I couldn't hear what my girlfriend was saying. About the food it was decent nothing special. On the other hand The edamame was extremely salty. Didn't really get much from my server but she was decent. I don't think I will be visiting this place again because I'm rarely in Oxnard. Also I love sushi and I have places I know for sure never disappoint me so I don't mess around. Over all if you looking for something fun during the week this is the place for you. As always please visit this restaurant and support them.

This place had an amazing vibe! Since we went on a Tuesday, there was not a big crowd or a wait. We went to celebrate a friend's birthday, so they had plenty of space for all of us to sit. The music was played by a DJ, and I really enjoyed the selected music he had.I do plan on going back because the Yakisoba was delicious. It's something I recommend eating fresh and not left over because it comes with an easy over fried egg.

We all have that one friend that doesn't eat sushi.. (yes they exist). Well instead of excluding that friend from any dinner plans, look no further! SushiWay is that place your sushi loving friends and taco loving friends can come together! Pretty interesting right! My friend and I ordered some sushi rolls and they were pretty delicious! The scallop roll.. yes please! My other friend ordered tacos, and some nachos and I must say, you had three content ladies! They do have a full bar, and some interesting cocktails to try. Definitely stop by if you're looking for some adventure.
