I wish I could give a lower rating. This was the worst taco place I have ever been to in my life! The service was terrible, the food was disgusting, and the prices were unreasonable. They have a 10 year old in the front taking orders. I asked for a quesadilla, and usually I expect a reasonable size for a 4 dollar quesadilla, and when I tell you that this thing was smaller than a taco. I went to ask how much they had charged me for the thing and even the girl was surprised and had to ask her boss herself to make sure it was 4 dollars. I said okay and decided to order another because I knew that I wasn't going to get full with just one. THEY FORGOT TO PUT IN MY ORDER. I waited 25 minutes and finally went to say something and asked for my money back in which they talked amongst each other and I heard "just give it to her and say sorry" I left without another word. Never going back to this place.

Went over to tacos el trompito on Monday 10/04/2021 as they usually have their pastor tacos for 1.50. I ordered four and I get a tally of 10.92. I asked why? She said that's how much the tacos are. I questioned it as the sign for every Monday the tacos de pastor are 1.50 she said they didn't have that tortilla today. If you know you aren't going to have something why not just remove the sign or put another sign saying that the promotion isn't available today. I still went ahead and orders Amy tacos and paid the amount she said. As I got my order she just handed me the bag the plate was sideways everything was all over the place. Please be more courteous with your customers and accommodating. I know it's not much but if you have a sign up saying something is one price at least honor it or take the sign off!

Had 1 cabeza 2 lengua and 1 asada! All were hand made tortillas and the lady at the register and making the food were both so sweet. I got 1 torta de al pastor 1 quesadilla My kids asked for beans inside a hortcha large and my 4 tacos with plenty of salsa cebolla asada pepinos and rábanos(my favorite with tacos) it came out to $30 and will be coming back again soon

Placed my order and watched cooking procedures. It is a failure. The huge stack of meat is spinning right next to the grill which is where meat is been cooked. Noticed that the placed cooked meat on the same pan(which is cutin half) where they the lady had previously put raw meat. Cooking failure, Cross contamination. I went to the cashier and told her to serve my tacos only from meat straight from the grill, as the cook lady heard my request she came and heard my complaint. She stated that she never placed cooked meat on the same pan where there was raw meat before, huge lie. Also, when she cut the raw meat she never changed gloves instead, she touched the tortillas and even served tacos herself. Perfect recipe for foodborne illness, food poisoning. Stay away, stay safe you and your family.

This was go to spot for a long time but the last 3 times I have given them a try we have been really disappointed. We always get alpastor nachos and the last few times the chips have been really stale.. I also noticed that they keep their chips in a plastic tote figures the stale chips. Las ultimas tres veces qué ido a comprar nachos los chips de los nachos parecen estar rancios por tenerles en un contenedor de plástico y no en su bolsa bien tapados... la tercera la vencida. Their tacos are amazing the only down side is that they are way over priced and they take forever with your order even if you phone it in with that being said their babarcoa tacos way better then la Bonita

A must Late night taco spot or anytime, console and tacos death birria plate is very good. I like to order the console on it's own too. El pastor looks good, but haven't tried.

I placed a huge order and they messed it up. Cold food, cheese was half way melted. They didn't give us all of the food we ordered. And when I asked for them to fix it they gave me such a hard time. Terrible place. Don't waste your time or money! So many great places in Oxnard this place definitely isn't one.

I admit, you do wait some time but like any good place it's worth it! Delicious pastor and asada, fair prices, their other location on saviers is just as good. Love me some tacos during quarantine!
