We love their new cook. Food taste so much better than it was. We have been ordering Los Paco's again, since last week. I think if people try them, you'll go back, like we did.

The for was ok. It probably would have been better if they got my order right. We called it in and then got there and they said it erased because their system only holds info for 30 minutes. We gave them the order a second time and then over 30 minutes and $160 later we got home and had most of the food wrong.

I finally had a chance to have a quick lunch at Los Pacos. Initially, I wanted to try this taqueria out but got confused with Los Panchos nearby Diablo Valley College. I had a quick dinner here on a rainy Friday night that consists of Tripas, Pastor, and Asada tacos. The restaurant is adorned with cool Dia de los Muertos portraits, that was a nice touch. Not long after, complementary chips came with salsa and their orange and verde sauces. The chips were good, and the salsa that came in tow has the right amount of yum. The orange sauce was delicious as well and the verde was properly hot, kudos to you Los Pacos. Then after a few minuities, my tacos came as well, with picked onions on the side. These tacos are laid down on a beautifully designed plate that works well along with the rest of the restaurant. First bite was the asada. Wow. Okay, that meat was wonderfully seasoned and was also equally tender. Top it off with their orange sauce and a dash of the verde made much more delicious. Next off was the pastor; "what is this?!" The marinated pork had a little bit of fat in it. I rarely see this type presentation and man that was yummy as well. The marinade was one of the best I've tasted. Last but not the least was the tripas. Okay, pretty decent as well. Savory and with its distinct tripas taste, it was good though the the best I have had (ahem, Chavelitas in Antioch). Overall my taco dinner was pretty strong. Strong enough that it shoots Los Pacos up on my list. As I understand, Los Panchos used the restaurant where now Los Pacos stands. I had burritos from one and tacos in the other, which I feel is like comparing apples and oranges. But with the meat being the same with both, and having eaten at both within a week, I would say Pacos wins by a very definitive margin. That pastor...man!

INSTANT DIARRHEA/ Poor management. Play at your own risk coming here. Came here thinking it was the original Los Panchos and got the complete opposite. As soon as I walked in it smelled very muggy and I got a bad vibe instantly. I didn't want to walk in without buying anything so I ordered something that anyone can mess up on (refried beans and tortillas. Instant stomach ache and had diarrhea for 4 days. I'm sorry but this place has to go.

So many options of meat that's always quick when ordered and delicious. They give you plentiful chips and salsa of your liking, offering everything I need. Not to mention I'm always met with a smile and good environment. It's sorta hidden but once found you won't be disappointed.

Los Panchos? No, no, Los Pacos. I know, when they first opened up after Los Panchos left, I had the exact same reaction. Either somebody was really bad at spelling, or they just decided, why change too much what has always worked at this spot? I'm sure nobody will notice the two letters missing! All kidding aside, let's talk about this new spot. Located next to California Grand, and across the street from Paddock Bowl, it replaces one of the longer standing and well-known spots for all your tacos, burritos, and other needs. The menu is pretty different as it's not the same owner. I've met the new owner. He's a pretty chill guy, and friendly. The menu here is probably much more simplified than before, but offers the same thing as you would expect from any basic taqueria offering. Price wise, it's about the same cost as the previous spot that was here, and about the same prices as Pacheco spot on the other side of the street. Certainly have some cheaper things here, as their tacos are pretty well priced normally when not on sale. They don't really do a taco Tuesday here though, but do have other offerings. Let's get to the food. The carne asada here is actually one of my favorites, and I always get it when I eat here. The carne asada they use is a bit more fattier than other taquerias, but it's not so fatty that it becomes hard to chew like some of those other places, and it's not just dried up meat/overcooked, as you still get that juiciness from the fat from the meat. At $3 a taco when not on a deal, I still find them to be a good value. The burrito here is huge, but I can't say it's one of my favorites, as I do feel it's quite as worth it mainly due to its price. For $15 for a burrito, which is a large size of course, I still didn't feel that the amount of steak to everything else ratio in that burrito was worth the cost. I could have had 5 carne asada tacos in its place, and probably enjoyed it better. The sauces here though, those are really nice. The green sauce is good. The orange sauce is really good too, but just be aware it's got a kick to it so beware. Still delicious. Some of the other stuff I've had here was, hit or miss. While the chicken is okay, the pastor is so-so sometimes, and I haven't yet tried the seafood stuff, I do feel not getting the carne asada here would be a waste. While they are not quite the same as their predecessor, for better or for worse, I still feel it's a solid taqueria spot if you're right in the area and don't wanna travel too far even though there's spots just down the street in several directions. It's not too expensive for some of the basic stuff here, and they will often have deals for tacos and such. Just make sure if you do enjoy carne asada, this is a great spot for it as most other places that have carne asada, even some of the more well-known spots are just sub-par, like, Los Panchos carne asada for example. Give them a try, even though they're missing two letters in their name.

I love their carne asada very flavorful and good cuts of meat not grizzly. Their salsa is very tasty and they're all nice here. Its a good takeout place

Solid tacos. $2ea is impossible to beat in 2023. Also, best I've found after moving from the border.

When I say I was pleasantly surprised, I was surprised surprised! I've lived in the area for almost 2 years now, and have seen the transition from the previous ownership to this new group. I have been reluctant to try them because there's nothing more disappointing than sad food. I decided to take a chance and try the place out yesterday. I arrived for early dinner, and all of the tables were sat. Granted, they don't have a lot of seating options, but the ones they did have were full. I ordered the burrito bowl with grilled chicken to go. The portion size was certainly underwhelming for $11. Especially given there are so many great alternatives in the area who do offer great portion sizes! They turn my order around relatively quickly as well! It took maybe five minutes from when I placed the order. So, that was disappointing initially, and then I took a bite! So yummy!! The chicken had perfect grill, marks, and flavor, every ingredient with seasoned and delicious! The overall portion size was small. The amount of each item was in perfect proportion. I think I have found my new food spot and it's walking distance from my house! It sucks to be in such a duct off location in a strip mall, but definitely worth a visit!! I will be back!
