Disappointed. A1 sushi roll described as shrip tempura & avocado topped with unagi & more avocado had only a smidge of shrimp or unagi & a ton of fited tempura coating and no avocado. Shoulda examind before leaving with the to go order. No customers in the restaurant @ lunch time.

The place was completely empty and it was around 12:30 noon on a Thursday. That should have been the red flag needed. Then a man comes out from the back and doesn't even say hello he just , asked how many and where would you like to sit? I pointed to the window where there is the most privacy and he told me straight up no and that it was to far for him to walk! I couldn't believe it. Going in there looked a bit sketch and I'm absolutely sure that the food doesn't move quick there so it all worked out. I said, okay never mind then and then went to the Thai BBQ which was AMAZING!

Let me tellYou something, the owner is not rude, he’s old school and means well. I’ve never had a Korean owned Japanese restaurant and this place is legit. My parents told me that a Japanese restaurant owned by a Japanese or Korean are the best ones, because they’re similar in many ways. This place is a hidden gem and you guys are missing out of you skip this place.

I know how I felt after eating here was not pleasant at all, never had anyone treated me with such rudeness as this old man did that served me. He shouldn't be in business if he's so miserable. So I checked reviews to see if it was me how disrespectful a person he was towards me & not to my surprise, he was rude to several others, as well.Give u an example, since Aykut D. doesn't agree with all these bad comments, but he is far from being a kind elderly man u feel he is. I left saying "Thank you" with a smile on my face, he replied with a rude tone "for what?, u don't have to say thank u."As for the food, the Salmon/sashimi dinner wasn't bad, the miso soup tasted like it was the last drop, very salty & grainy, & hot tea I asked for was cold. Price is fairly average.Oh, door sign hours says closed at 10pm; apparently wrong, as he was rushing me saying they're almost closed at 9 at 8:40pm, but I didn't finish til 9:15. Usually other places, you're welcome to finish if already inside, not here. So does that justify RUDENESS? Someone thought he may be racist. I'm Asian, not Japanese.NOT COMING BACK!!!

I wish I would have read the reviews first I'm only leaving 2 stars because I feel bad for Bruce. It would be 1 star honestly. The reviews are true but I don't necessarily think Bruce is rude, I think it's just difficult to understand him. This is a one man show. He is running the restaurant on his own, 0 staff. I am definitely worried about getting sick after eating here.

Owner was very rude, he seemed racist because we were the only brown people in the restaurant and told my group “no more” and to leave then just walked away. I would not recommend to anyone.

What was once a decent establishment has gone to the toilet. Read all the negative reviews because EVERYONE of them were right! This place sucks! I ordered the American Sushi and sashimi dinner and it literally looked like a frozen tray of anchovies. The sashimi was brown in color with freezer burns. It smelled bad similar to a tuna boat on a hot summer day with small bugs flying around in it. The California roll was rancid and wreaked of a dirty old towel. Not sure what happened to his help but the night we went in it was a one man operation. The chef ( I think his name is Bruce) was alone and in no hurry to prepare our meal. This all equaled HORRIBLE food, HORRIBLE service and UNSANITARY conditions! I don't even know how this place remains open! The chef also denied a young African American couple service after they patiently waited to be seated by saying to them "no more!" Even though the restaurant was supposed to be open until 10:00 PM and it was only 8:15 PM! I'd be very surprised if this place manages to be open until the new year. What a dump!!!

K: Bruce knows how to make sushi but his attitude towards customers is something else. Man rolled his eyes after we asked if there was ayce sushi on a regular thursday night AND when we asked for hot sake. Bruce, what happened? F: he rolls his eyes better than he rolls his sushi

Horrible customer service, we walk in the guy was very rude, threw our food on the table. Ask him questions ignored us. Food was horrible as well. Never going back there again.

My wife ordered 3 rolls from here this probably not only the worst sushi I've ever had but the worst food I've ever had after a few bites of 2 of the rolls I decided to throw away everything. What a waste of $60. Do not waste your time or money. If I could give negative stars I would.
