This food was inedible. I felt like Gordon Ramsey on Kitchen Nightmares. The Chimichanga was swimming in a plate of oil. The nachos were greasy and the chicken tasted horrible. I am not even sure what the green sauce on both plates was. We left after 2 bites.

Great, delicious and affordable Mexican food, the service is great and the foot was cooked to perfection, one thing it got my attention also was the good prices, high quality food, authentic! Well. This place has an awesome menu. We were stuck as to what to order and sadly no table service so you can't ask questions or you hold up line. Hence 3 stars for service not 4 or 5. Another issue is canned sodas. Ugh. Should have ordered a beer. And next time I will because yes I would go back. The food was pleasant I had enchiladas and my friend had steak plate. Our order came to 50.00. A bit steep but like I said we didn't know what to order. The rice and beans perfect the steak my friend had tender.Parking: Plenty of places to park

231113MO. Huarache dish was splendid, tasty and spicy. Sadly there are no point to charge the phone, but the guys charge all stuff inside. It is open lately than others in the zone.

We went there on Oct. 15, 2023 (our first time). It's funny . . . our initial plan was to get lunch at Taco Bell which is only a 5-minute walk from El Gran Amigo. The only reason we skipped Taco Bell was because it was too crowded. We found El Gran Amigo purely by accident. We ordered a "chile relleno plate" and a "chile verde super quesadilla." Both items were decent. I was sort of expecting larger portion sizes, but, oh well. I thought the pork for my "chile verde" could have been more tender; the flavor was decent (not great). I DID appreciate the "cheesiness" of my quesadilla. The service was "nothing to write home about." It was "acceptable," at best.

Really unflavored food. It's pretty tasteless. You can tell that the beans are out of a can also, and the tamales were store bought.
I ordered a taco salad and it didn’t have lettuce. Horrible! They are so inconsistent and the guy who is at the cashier is so rude.

The customer service wasn’t the greatest and when food came I ordered a menudo it had to flavor to it and the meat was chewy. I asked if I can switch since I couldn’t get myself to eat that I got told if I wanted something else I needed to pay for it because I had already tasted the food. What sense does that make. My friends ordered a mojarra frita (fried fish) it didn’t have any flavor to it neither. With that said I won’t be returning.
