I was hesitant because of the reviews but this place is great! It has that mom and pop feel. Great food and great service. This place has great old fashion burgers and fresh onion rings.

This place has so much potential but looks like a hoarders house. Lots of stuff everywhere. Prices are crazy. Please clean up the place.

So much more could be done with the space this restaurant occupies. Situated in Rockaway Beach, Pacifica's local shoreline and shopping spot, Rock'n Rob's Famous Pacifica Burgers are anything but famous. A big entry way leads into what appears to be classic diner, complete with counter stools and tiled floors and booths. The walls are adorned with 1950s era memorabilia like Marilyn Monroe and James Dean posters and black and white photos of old cars by the Golden Gate Bridge. There's plenty of seating, but only because the place is a ghost town. When I walked in at 4:30pm on a sunny Monday afternoon, there was one small family occupying a booth in the back and two employees - one of whom was clearly on break and not interested in chatting with me at all, and the other at the front register who wasn't so interested in serving a customer and later somewhat abruptly notified me that they don't allow photos of the restaurant... which I understand, I wouldn't really want it photographed either if I worked there. Since I wasn't all that hungry, I just got a cheeseburger and a chocolate shake which cost a whopping $19.25 but tasted like it should cost $5. The shake alone was $8.25 and I have to confess, that's got to be one of the worst value to cost propositions in milkshake history. There are plenty of shakes around town that cost half as much and taste twice as good. I forgot to take pictures of either the shake or the burger because they were so forgettable. I can't imagine any situation in which I'd recommend this spot. Maybe if you're absolutely starving and happen to be walking right by this place... but even then I'd challenge you to walk another mile over the hill to Burger Board in Linda Mar and get yourself a proper burger and shake.

This place is your go to stop for a delicious 50's cafe .They have unbelievable hamburgers and Shakes..The old fashioned malt shakes yum..Super cool located right by the Pacific Ocean literally 15 yards away..So eat your treat and walk to the ocean yum yum..The service was very friendly. The inside was like being on an old 50's show complete with bar stools and pictures..

Worst clam chowder I have ever gotten. Looked like it had been watered down and tasted old. Fries were not even hot, and it took 45minutes to get

One of the best burgers I’ve ever had hands down , definitely can taste the love ! Anyone who thinks otherwise hasn’t been here ! Every time I go to pacifica I’m going to make this a mandatory destination, also the fries are some of the best I have had as well and I always eat burgers ! MUST STOP HERE !! The inside has super cool old school vibes too.

The western burger was fantastic. The pickles are cut around the center so they’re perfectly crispy, and the steak sauce on the burger is delicious. The fries are addictive. My friend and ate here after a long day of fishing and are planning to go back every time we visit Pacifica. It has an old school malt shop vibe. The staff are great! 5/5 would highly recommend.Parking: There’s a free parking lot right across the street from the restaurant.

Felt like we were burdening the waitress by showing up. Lights off and clutter in most of the restaurant. Food was ok but not an enjoyable experience. We softened her up a bit with time, but wouldn't go back.

Solid all around. Good place for a slice of pie and coffee, or a root beer float. Unglamorous, but that's fine.

Great service and good burgers. Celebrated a family member’s birthday and they made us feel so welcome and did a great job helping us celebrate with chocolate cakes and party hats!

They didn't ask how we like our burger done so they were over cooked and dry. ☹️
