January 1 2024 around 240 pm I went to Starbucks on 791 Hickey in Pacifica CA I ordered a drink through the mobile app I went in the Starbucks to get my drinkI was supposed to be in and out therefore I didn't take my phone with me once inside I needed to use the restroom As I was walking in I noticed a bucket and a mop in front the restroom I moved aside. When I was ready to leave I couldn't open the door I couldn't believe it seemed the harder I tried the would not budgeI tried knocking and calling out for help I was there for about 10 minutesI finally found the strengthI pushed the door with everything I had the door did not open but I did manage to move the one rows of boxes budged and I was able to put my hand through the small gap between the door and the boxes I attempt to move the boxes but it was not possible finally an employee came over and moved the boxes I believe she was a supervisor she was wearing a black apron she did not apologize all she said to me in an annoyed voice that the rest were supposed to be getting cleaned I had so much anxiety I got my drink and left I called Starbucks corporate the next day and they informed that a district manager would call I didn't receive a call which I thought would be right thing to do the severity of the incidentStarbucks do better!

I've seen a lot larger Starbucks who struggle with a bigger staff. Michael is the captain of his trade and runs this store flawlessly with less. The teamIs organized, polite, fast, and drives the brand to a whole new level. the amount of coordination, and teamwork can be seen through the creations in a cup. Hope big corporate dudes see this and set this place as the standard across the globe. It's so popular everyone knows each other by first name and established a “regular crowd” basis.

It's so disturbing to hear how the staff gossip so loud that we can hear them through our head phones. Every time I come in here I always hear the latest gossip of other co-workers they can't stand or how they hate the organization of their shifts. I am so happy I don't bring my kid in hear. The language is not child-friendly. I originally did not want to say anything, because I know it's ok to vent from time to time. But this is every time. It's hard to come here and enjoy a cup of coffee and open our laptops without hearing all the latest drama. This has been going on for many months. I don't experience this at any other coffee shop. Just saying!

The grande steamed milk that I ordered via mobile app was okay. I can't review anything else because the other items we wanted to order were sold out. As far as the three employees who were working behind the counter when we visited - far from okay. There was a customer patiently waiting for her order down towards the right side of the wall, so when she picked up her two drinks I moved down to wait for my order - which by the way I thought might be there already because the eta said only a few minutes. Waiting, waiting. The three girls are looking at us but no greeting. There's one customer at the counter placing an order with one of the employees, and one just one other person sitting alone. Finally after a few minutes I show my order to Wednesday Addams and I ask her if I'm at the correct location to pick up my itty, bitty steamed milk. Her: "Yea" Goes to look for my itty grande milk behind the counter and slides it across the counter to me. I wish it tipped over. They're so snobby, and pretty good at ignoring customer(s) patiently waiting in a super, non busy Starbucks location that I won't ever visit that old location again. Starbucks did something right and placed them at this location, because there's probably no way they'd stay afloat at the modern and busy locations.

Came in when it was slow. Three employees behind the counter, one customer in front of me getting order. Waited, waited, waited, and waited some more. One employee grinding the coffee for customer in front of me. Two othe employees who won't make eye contact with me. Seriously, perhaps I'm uglier than their customer service skill! I left. If I could give them 0/5 stars I would.

Love the location. Minus 1 star because their coconut milk hurt my tummy. I hope Starbucks will change the type of Coconut milk they purchase one day. One that's more natural and with more flavor.

I was greeted by two super professional and sweet young ladies who helped me order-I was super indecisive! My drink was perfectly delicious, a cold brew-yum! But the staff, wow, they were so super friendly and kind! The vibe was cool; music is fun! I have some work to do before a meeting and so I sat and worked on my computer for 2 hours here, I am blown away by the customer service! I am a STICKLER and the young man who appeared, maybe a manager? I don't know but gosh he and the ladies worked so well together. I also listened as they greeted every customer, engaged in conversation, LISTENED and were so helpful and kind to people. This is the BEST Starbucks I've ever been to based purely on this team and I will be back... with friends!

This review is in comparison only to other Starbucks I have visited, and there have been many.I recently moved a block away from the Fairmont Center and was super excited to have a Starbucks within comfortable walking distance. I stopped by a few times prior to moving and in the last week three more times. My experiences were not that great unfortunately.Ambiance - The store is small leaving little room to work with. My prior usual store was also small so I am accustomed to creative use of café space. There are 6 or 7 inside tables, the old dark brown ones with matching chairs, set-up with one row of 2-tops against the window and another row, abutting the line area, of 2-tops next to them. There are two 4-tops, one disabled table and one in the row next to the line. Outside there are additional 4-tops.Each time I visited, the café was dirty. The tables were not wiped and the floor had not been swept. Visible dirt and smudges on the surfaces, debris and dust on the floor. That the store is small, shouldn't it be easier to maintain? One of the recent visits my daughter and I stayed for nearly an hour and the cafe was not serviced once. Someone did come out to the former condiments bar to grab straws, which entailed walking through the cafe, but they obviously did not notice the need for cleaning. Service - My very first visit after moving, the young lady at the counter called me by my first name directly after I scanned my rewards account. She made the effort to continue to use my name in a welcoming and personal way, making me feel like a regular. Unfortunately, I have not seen her in the subsequent visits nor have I received service anywhere near as good.My views on service are, I shudder to say this, old school. From the days when the customer was the primary objective of the team. I spent the first ten years of my working life in restaurants and small grocery. My very first day of my very first job at a cafe, the very first thing the manager told me was that the customer is the only reason we're here. Nothing else matters more than the person in front of you with money. We need that money to continue serving customers and to stay in business.Aside from my first interaction with a team member the rest have been subpar. Mostly because the team members seem to be more interested in each other than the customers. My 13yo daughter went to the counter to request a straw and it literally took 4 minutes for someone to acknowledge her, and there were 5 team members on duty. In that same visit her order was made incorrectly, but was correct on the drink sticker. She returned to the barista and nicely requested the correct beverage. The team member's response was one of being put out to have to remake the drink for a kid. The barista didn't remake the drink. She took a bar spoon and half-assedly scooped out the strawberries. There were still three obvious ones floating around the drink when she handed it back.I did not get the impression that the workers cared.Other - The food is standard Starbucks fare which my kids love. While the drinks are made well, we have not had a good record of getting orders correct. Of the 15 or so drinks we've ordered in the first week here 3 were made wrong. The store itself does not seem to be well organized. The last two days they have been out of several items and some key supplies. Today they didn't have Venti cold flat lids and had to use dome lids. No big deal, it happens. But they were simultaneously out of Venti straws. So Venti cold drinks were served with dome lids and Grande straws that are too short to make it past the lid. I completely understand stores run out of items, but when it gets to the point where a drink is near undrinkable you need to get super scrappy to solve it. Even to the point of running next door to the Dollar Store to buy large straws. I know many Starbuck's team members who are super resourceful and their stores reflect it.Summary - This lengthy diatribe is primarily here to point out my experience with the store in hopes that they s
