Dietary restrictions: There is MSG (shouldn't be a surprise) but the food is delicious, just a touch on the spendy side. To be fare we always go home with leftovers.

I really did love this place but the last time I ordered from here it was horrible. The lemon chicken was absolutely disgusting. The sauce had the strangest taste to it and was not pleasant at all. The chicken dish that we got was supposed to be shredded chicken And it was chunks of rubbery chicken that I wasn't sure was even cooked thoroughly. The wonton soup was tasty, but that was it. 70 bucks down the drain. I called them and left a message and told them how dissatisfied I was but I don't really think they cared. oh well. I won't be going back here again.

Me and a couple friends got the mandarin dinner special. Everything we got was delicious especially the hot and sour soup. We would definitely go back.

The food was good but it is very expensive for what you get. I get this could be because of the area but it is still hard to recommend based on what you get for your money.

Updating my review. We went today 12-3-23 and I am happy to say that the food is just as good. Very expensive but the food was good. The only notable thing was the interior is definitely outdated and could use a deep overhaul clean. The soy sauce, bottle and vinegar bottles etc were sticky, which means they haven't been cleaned properly in a while. Otherwise, totally great

I have been coming to Tam’s regularly for nearly 25 years, which is wild to say. Not only is the service impeccable every time, but the food quality and flavor is fresh and consistent. I absolutely love the sizzling rice soup, effigy has great texture, but also love the potstickers and braised bean curd. You really can’t go wrong!

My family has been coming here since I was small (reference:I'm in my 30s) . Graduations and most celebrations were celebrated here. I have never made a review , but after seeing the ratings they had, I had to assure people that this great amazing Chinese food and some of the best I've had on the peninsula. Ya, it is a bit pricey , but they are owned by such a wonderful family, and the waiters have always been top-notch. I highly recommend for large groups, the portion sizes are shareable.

Went to this establishment for my brothers birthday. It was his choice and the Mongolian beef was high on the list of favorites. We had the scallops in black bean sauce, Mongolian beef both of these were so good we ordered again. The lemon chicken was good but my brother wasn't a huge fan of this dish. The fried prawn were a delicious appetizer. The complimentary jasmine tea perfect for a drizzly night in Pacifica. Staff were attentive and personable. This has been a family favorite for years. Happy we were able to go back.

The BEST bbq pork fried rice in the bay! And that's a big statement coming from a fried rice lover :)

We were having dinner and we ordered Peking duck with some sauce and cabbage. The whole Peking duck was not enough with sauce and cabbage for 10 persons and we requested some extra cabbage. The waiter said emty in the kitchen and asked about it and we got a few extra cabbage after. I wanna say that cabbage is the cheap vegetable and the restaurant can charge $5.00 or $7.00 something like that but never say empty in the kitchen. The restaurant has been kept a lot of stock in the freezer and walking cooler.Don't say like that on all customers. Finally, our bill was almost $270 and automatically they charged TIPS almost $50.00 by them without customers permission. It sucks. We never go there again.

Food is good. Orange Chicken could use some work. They force you to pay a 15% tip.Do NOT come here if you expect good service, where I would at least be okay with paying a tip.Atmosphere is relatively dead. No wonder the locals don’t come here on a Sunday afternoon.

Tam's was referred by our friend and neighbor. We were very pleased with the quality of the food. We had excellent service. The couple who greeted us at the door were very nice and seated us quickly. Big place, so I gather it gets large groups. Overall, a very enjoyable dining experience. Thank you.
