Overpriced middle-school cafeteria level food! Ordered the pulled pork plate with collard greens as 2nd side. The prices are higher than the prices shown in the recent internet pictures, & my meal totaled just over $21. Way too pricey for what was served! The meal came in styrofoam packaging, along with a single-use plastic fork.... absolutely horrible for the environment! The pulled pork was not tender, had no smoked or BBQ flavor, was riddled with fat pieces, was greasy, & was completely saturated in watered down BBQ sauce in an attempt to hide how bad it was! The collard greens came in a separate tiny Styrofoam cup (again terrible for the environment,) were bitter tasting, and were only about four bites worth, as half of the cup was filled with collard greens juice to trick you into thinking you got more than you did. The french fries were lackluster and tasted like they were from a frozen bag. The cornbread was actually decent and the only positive aspect of the meal. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, but I will never come back here to eat. Complete waste of money!

I don’t know how they got good reviews. This is not BBQ AT ALL!!!! so whom ever is saying it’s good you don’t know good bbq. And they dumped the meat out of a pre packed bag onto the grill. Where they do that at. a joke!!!!!!! Only that was bussing from my tip dinner was the fries. Mac&cheese tasted bland and like cardboard no flavor at all….

One of the best ruebens I've ever had. Food came out hot and fresh and didn't take too long. Fries were cooked to perfection. 5/5

I had a to go order with a tri- tip sandwich that was drenched in sauce. I had to get my own bread because their bread was soggy. No vegetables or nothing on the sandwich. Just meat and sauce, with fries and a very small side. Also, beef ribs had very little meat. DisappointedI heard this place was good, but it wasn't.

Well, I have to say I ordered this through Grubhub. NOT disappointed, the rib tips were so tender, greens were good too!! The cornbread was very light... don't know how they did it, but was very good!!! Beef ribs were also tender.... best tender Bbq I've had in the valley... will be regulars for sure!!!' Keep up the great cooking guys!!!!

They don't make guys like Big Pop anymore. Big Pop was the kind of guy you could always go to. Always count on. No matter what the issue was, Big Pop was there to listen -- and even if you couldn't cry on his shoulder, you could look at his shoulder and cry a little bit.Yeah... he'd call you on your BS, staring you down with those angry, bulging eyes... but he did it with love and he served it with a side of mac n cheese -- or as he called it, "The real sh*t." I thought it was bland, but always appreciated the gesture. I regret we had such a dramatic falling out, but cherish the few good times.

Just had takeout from this BBQ spot, hadn't had it in years, yup they still got it! The sauce is the right amount of sweet, and hands down, they serve the best cornbread I've ever tasted. Definitely worth a try.

9/21/23 Ordered pork ribs half slab...the ribs amounted to TWO (2) normal size rib bones. The longest rib bone was the length of my middle finger (including the gristle). The shortest rib bone was the size of my baby finger (including the gristle). I've eaten ribs for over 60 years and NEVER have received a rib order that had cut the bones into thirds or quarters.

After reminding my wife that this BBQ restaurant was in the same general vicinity of Pacoima as Nashville Hot Chicken, she brought a slab of beef ribs (8) home tonight, after passing through the area again. Great tasting ribs and sauce, and the cornbread and chili were decent. The greens on the other hand, not so much. Like "from a can" in her own words. We'll be back again, and give the macaroni and cheese, along with their coleslaw a try. The fries traveled the distance home okay, but probably much better eaten nearby. But this is more of a to-go place rather than dine in. There are several tables provided inside. On my bookmark list for several years now; finally a first sampling. Mini mall parking available.

Do not order the tri tip sandwich, has very little amount of meat not worth the $16.00 I know prices have gone up everywhere but come on. Very disappointed.
