The reason I'm giving them 3 stars is because the staff is always so nice. I have been here 3 times, the place is really cute they have a great outside patio with seating and plenty of seating inside as well with cool art pieces you can purchase. Now for the food, the first time I came here it wasn't bad, I split a breakfast burrito and a specialty pancake. The second time was awful, I ordered a hamburger and it was literally a premade frozen patty you get at Costco, great for a home cookout but not what you want when you go to a diner and the fries where the frozen pre seasoned fries. #3 today 4/13/24, I ordered a French toast combo with turkey sausage, eggs over easy and hash browns well done, everything came out iced cold, I can watch the cooks when I walk in and you can see they are making plenty of the standards and letting it sit there until someone orders it. Today was my last time there. They have a nice selection of cool small brewers draft beers.

Food: was okay. Service: Horrible service from the waitress wearing all black today. She forgot to submit our order, so we waited about an hour for it to come out only for my order to be wrong. Then she had the audacity to tell me when I paid that at least she got me the hashbrowns... however, I ordered hashbrowns to being with so not sure how she said she compensated by getting me hashbrowns. Not once did she apologize for forgetting to put our order in. Worst customer service and don't plan to go back. By far the worst waitress I've ever met. She had a really bad attitude.

Chilaquiles are very good and tasty but they are soggy. Smashburger the only thing worth is the patty. Everything else worthless for the price $$. The peach and pineapple mimosas are great. But, they forgot to tell you that it's $35 for bottomless. So, not worth it if you can't drink more than three. I tried this place for the high rating which I don't agree. Cheers!!

I got the lavender tea, both iced and hot. I preferred the hot although both were great. Waitress Maira was very nice and very helpful even when they were incredibly busy. She was great. I ordered the tofu breakfast burrito. It was okay. I had to really use the salsa for flavor. I tried the chalupa salsa but it didn't match well with the tofu, that's better with eggs. Use their house salsa. I had the red, didn't try the green. ambiance was fun. I've had better food here in the past, but tofu burrito was a 3 and a half. Maira was so good, goes to four.

Love coming here for breakfast they have really good options with a mixture of Hispanic choices and American choices.

To eat, I had Smoked Croissant Benedict--tasty eggs Benedict on a croissant instead of English muffin and potatoes as a side, delicious! To drink, I had their new Lavender Latte--deliciously rich! I recommend trying! Overall, great local mom and pop café in Pacoima!

This restaurant has recently become one of mine and my partners' favorites. Our favorite items have been the blueberry pancakes and asada nachos. This place is truly unique and will continue to be one of our go-to restaurants in the valley. The service has been amazing, and the waiters are lovely and quick. My only complaint is the price, but with the aesthetic and food appearance, it's expected!

In honestly don't know what happened to Mykes Cafe. I always throught that the food was amazing. It's great having a restaurant like this in the heart of Pacoima. My review has nothing to do with the quality of the food. A few weeks ago I was visiting home and wanted to take my kiddo to breakfast. He and his dog are inseparable . He didn't want to leave his dog behind so I thought she could come along since a lot of places are dog friendly . Well, maybe they're not everywhere . I called asking if they had a patio and if they were dog friendly. The woman who answered hesitated but then said only service dogs! I forgot that some parts of the San Fernando valley are still like the stone age and don't have dog friendly places. Maybe I sound like snob, but it's infuriating that some places still look down their noses at pups and the emotional support they provide for anxious kiddos (and adults) I hope that one day cities Pacoima and others can make places dog friendly so that EVERYONE could participate and enjoy a nice Sunday morning out !

Ambiance is homey, patio is a vibe. Food Is good. They got a unique menu with choices I would never have thought about and they also have micheladas and mimosas and tap beers. Waiters are friendly. The service is quick. Have been coming for 2 years and always bring someone new that end up loving it too.
