Raspberry matcha is absolutely phenomenal, creamy, tasty, perfect amount of sweetness, the chocolate chip cookie was very good and everyone like their cookies. The banana bread was underwhelming, but everything else I absolutely loved and I will be back.

This review is solely for their iced matcha. I've tried manyyyyy matcha places in the San Fernando Valley and I have to say this is one of the best. There is little to no bitterness, it's perfectly creamy, and the color is a beautiful green. While it is tasty, I wish I got more of a matcha flavor from the drink--I'm not sure if it's the brand that they use that only offers a less intense matcha flavor. I also wish they had more options for sweeteners, like lavender. Though I was excited to add raspberry recently and it was amazing. Lastly, I noticed that they store the matcha in a glass container, which can impact the freshness and flavor of the matcha due to exposure to sunlight (a big no-no for proper matcha storing). Maybe this explains the somewhat lack in flavor? Nonetheless, I truly enjoy this matcha every time and I will be a regular for as long as I work nearby.

Decided to come try a new coffee shop in the area, and found this place on yelp so I was happy to give it a try! I'm glad I did! To begin with, I was greeted and helped by a very sweet and patient barista, Dina! Everything on there menu look fantastic. First thing that caught my eye was their pastry bar! So many delicious pastries to choose from. I decided to start off with the chocolate banana coffee cake. Moving on to drinks, I got myself their Ohanna Latte and grabbed my husband matcha latte! Ohanna latte, hand downs not to sweet, not to strong, a balance of perfection! Thanks Dina! The matcha, couldn't go wrong with that choice either! No complaining here! Seating is quite limited, but I'm here for the coffee! But if you do choose to meet up with friends. They do have group tables! Not saying you can't lounge yourself because they have those too! Will be back!!!!

INICIO COFFEE is located in a strip mall with limited parking spaces. Though the space is limited, we didn't have any trouble finding an available spot. There was no line to get in, only one group in line in front of us to order, and the wait to get our drinks didn't take long. They have tables for you to work with your laptop. In fact, there was a lady who was conducting an online meeting on one of the tables when we were there and another guy was a having a business meeting on another. There is wifi here. The ICED LATTE was strong and delicious. The staff are super friendly and helpful and warm and welcoming. INICIO COFFEE is a great addition to this part of The Valley.

We went inside to purchase whole bean coffee. The coffee shop was cute, clean, and with comfortable sitting. Coffee purchased was okay. We prepared it as drip and french press, and I would try something different next time.

Had coffee here recently and it is like an oasis in the middle of a very unexpected place. The coffee was good. The service provided by Jasmine was great. My husband liked his tea and pastry. I found the gf chocolate muffin to be dry and not too tasty. I would definitely return for the serenity and the vibe of the place. You can tell that the coffee was of very good quality and a lot of attention has gone to creating this amazing space!

I despertately needed 2 hours of solid work time away from helping my parents in their home in North Hollywood. I searched nearby coffee shops and Inicio came up. I normally don't go to Pacoima, but the reviews were outstanding! I will now make every attempt to go back there to get my work done. Not only is the space clean and staff is friendly, the pastries ARE delicious and taste homemade. I am gluten-free and had 3 choices- which is rare! The banana bread was mouthwatering and my decaf no sugar chair with oatmilk was PERFECT. Thank you Inicio. My client was so happy with my work because you provided the the perfect environment.
