We have been there many times. The server never told us the specials, but told other tables. She forgot to bring us bread, olive oil and vinegar and we asked several times. She didn't ask if we wanted another glass of wine and cleared the table while we were still eating.

We cannot remember eating at a place with food that was this bad.Eggplant Parmesan tasted like they used the cheapest mozzarella they could find.Service was lackluster at best.

Patio was closed because of the wind and staff did an admirable job with the shortage of tables. Waitress was very pleasant and the food was very good , I had the chicken marsela and it was delicious.

Dry chicken was replaced with a fish dish offered by the waiter. Then the bill came and the charge was $16 more for the fish dish! We questioned this and the answer was, you ordered the fish it’s more expensive. We thought it was offered in exchange for the chicken. It wasn’t. We weren’t told that. How ever a free glass of wine was delivered to us. The restaurant felt this was a good exchange. Personally I think this was not a great way to handle the situation. I feel like we were led to believe the fish was replacing the chicken. The free glass of wine wasn’t even necessary. Or asked for. I don’t think you handled this very well.

Excellent service, from the moment we walked in the door... Waitress, Diane, was so sweet and accommodating, as were the busboys... Overall ambience, good food and great service make it a winning combination. Can't wait to go go back with friends.

Really delicious meals and prompt, gracious service. Fresh chunks of Parmesan served with warm bread for the table is a nice touch. Good wine list too. We'll go back—definitely recommend ?
The lobster salad and mango chicken salad are always excellent. We overheard 4-5 other diners ordering fish and chips without looking at the menu. Definitely good food and good service.

Backstreet bistro was great for lunch... There were eight of us, and we all loved our food The service was great !! Nice to sit on the patio we could all hear each other talk !! Probably the best tuna melt I have ever had !!

Great service and food. There was a large party being served so the waiter suggested ordering some wine and a salad before we ordered. It was a great idea and made the dinner that much more enjoyable.

When we arrived having requested an outdoor table, there were none available. after asking if there might be something available if we were willing to wait, they went out of their way to combine tables so that we might sit outside. The service was outstanding, and our party of five all enjoyed our dinner . as we were entertaining out of town guests, it was a wonderful experience. Will definitely be back and highly recommended it.
