Came for pizza with a friend. Ordered The Works minus the round beef. It was delicious l. My friend had never had their pizza and thought it was really good. Waitpersons we're quick and friendly. Good value.

I will not recommend this place. Our young female manager/server was rude and disrespectful. We asked a male server about the charged for extra dressing. I said that the server should have told me that there's extra charge, it's not about the money, it's the principle. If I was told, I will not asked for it. So he said that he's going to take it off this time. Then the manager gave me my check and it's still there. Bob called her and told her what the other server said. She said in a rude way that he has no say so, she's the manager. She said that the extra side charges are in the menu and point it out to us, top right corner, which I didn't look up there. Bob said that we didn't see that part of the menu, we looked on the entree only, She gave him a nasty remarks and said that she's going to have Billy kick us out. We didn't say or do anything for her to say that. I told Bob I should not give her tip, but Bob said that I should not lower myself in her level, so I gave her 20% gratuity. On our way out, Bob had a long conversation with Billy the owner about her attitude and rudeness. Billy apologize on her behalf. The Laura Salad was good except for the strips of chicken breast was tasteless and awful. I couldn't eat the chicken.

first time at Billy Q's, we ordered a tuna melt and a Med Veg Pizza, to go, ready in 15 minutes, ordered at 530 pm, the sandwich was very good, the albacore salad was a little different and a little heavy on the onions for those interested but perfectly grilled sourdough, the thin crust pizza was completely covered in black olives, mushrooms, artichokes, peppers, and red onion, the thin crust was very thin and it was very good. I have heard some negative remarks (lol) but if you want New York Pizza, go to New York)

Tried this place a couple times. A $20 corkage fee is a little steep for this place, but okay. However, they give you a water glass to drink your wine from. That's a miss. They have great meals, but their service is not as great. The general attitude is that they are doing you a favour. Be careful to order from the correct location. Their website is confusing and if you accidentally order from the other location, you will get told that "we will not remake your pizzas here". Abruptly. Rudely. Like you are an idiot. We are not going back and will tell everyone about our experiences.

We are residents of Sun City and have enjoyed eating since they've reopened. We've had pizza, sandwiches and salad and enjoyed them. The staff is friendly and attentive.

As a SCPD resident, I'm aware of the challenges that Billy Q's faced in opening. First, the pandemic. Then the stove malfunctioned. They were understaffed as were many restaurants, again caused by the pandemic. The well researched reader is aware that their restaurant in Palm Desert has a Yelp rating of 4.5 stars. So after eating in twice and getting take out once, I think the SC site is closer to 4.5 stars than what sounds like an unfortunate experience noted in the previous post. Music is not loud and food comes out hot. I've had pizza all three times. First was a sausage and mushroom as It's my fave. It was tasty, good but not great. Second was the Greek pizza. Now that was excellent! Really a nice blend of ingredients. Third was The Works, sans salami and ground beef. Again, it was excellent. They don't put a bunch of sauce on their pizzas, likely so the crust won't get soggy. It works as the crust is crispy regardless of toppings. My wife has gotten salads every time (news flash, she's thinner than I am). The house salad was simple with a thick and tasty balsamic vinaigrette. The Greek salad was the standout. Really good! Finally, the chicken Caesar was very tasty. After several bad experiences at other restaurants with chicken that tasted like it came out of a bag, this chicken tasted real, and was very tasty. Servers were short staffed on our first visit, but were pleasant and friendly. I do have one concern. While most servers wore masks, the one who served our food had her mask pulled down and was talking while holding the food two feet below her mouth. They may want to fix that. Value for the valley is very good. Most items are in the $10-15 range, and portions are large. It's a good restaurant, much better than most diners, and is a welcome addition to SCPD.

My elderly father and I had lunch here today, October 20, 2021. We ordered pizza. Our server, Michael was terrific as was all the staff. The pizza's flavor was okay (not great), but the pizza came out cold/lukewarm (at best). I had specifically asked for a very hot (temperature-wise) pizza. While trying to enjoy our drinks, a staff member started cleaning/spraying the glass door and windows next to our table. The chemical smells were revolting. Those chemicals cause cancer and other deadly diseases. Then, a staff member started vacuuming, around the surrounding tables, while we were eating, or at least, trying to enjoy our pizza. Not an enjoyable dining experience at all. To make the entire dining experience the absolute worst was the baseball game was on. The game being shown was perfectly fine. The issue was the TVs (many) were BLASTING LOUD. My 86 year old Dad asked them to turn the volume down; which they kindly did. Then a very short time later, the owner/manager turned it up again. This time ever louder. My Father and I could not even talk/have a conversation. Aside from our terrific waiter, Michael, and other staff, it was a MISERABLE lunch/experience. We had a horrible time. I did not think Billy Q's was only a Sports Bar. I thought it was a restaurant/bar. If you are very hard of hearing (COMPLETELY DEAF) and enjoy being served cold pizza, then this place might be for you. In all likelihood, we will not be back nor recommend this obnoxiously loud "Sports Bar" pretending to be a casual, comfortable restaurant. What a wonderful addition to our community! Have visited several times since they opened a few weeks ago and have been extremely pleased every time! The food is fresh, made to order, and so tasty, and the service is second to none! I had the pleasure of being served by a young lady named "Cassie" on a couple of occasions, and I was really amazed at how she remembered my previous order, my favorite beverage, and my name! She was swift, competent, friendly, always smiling and definitely aimed to please! She should be given a big pat on the back for promoting such excellent customer service and making me feel like family at Billy Q's!
