I'm not a local, but was in town for work. My coworker and I stopped in for lunch, I had the pastrami, and my coworker had the spicy Italian. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, the sandwiches were excellent, and the experience was great from start to finish! If I'm back in town for work, I definitely will be back.

Found this place after the Lunch Spot was closed today. We had the Carve special sandwich, chips, sodas, and pasta salad. All were fabulous! The sandwich was incredible!!! The staff is super friendly as well! A definite go to spot if you're on the north side of town!

Our team ordered a monstrous takeout order today, and The Brown Bag delivered on all fronts. Ordering online was a breeze, and everything was perfect. Personal highlights were the Italian salad and BLTac. I had a chicken Caesar salad that was great. As someone proudly from the east coast, I often struggle to find a similar deli experience on the west coast. The Brown Bag has everything you're looking for - customizable favorites, specialty sandwiches, cheap prices, and spectacular service. Down to the last minute detail. I was very happy to see that you can get any bread you like with the sandwich you choose. This family-run business is what keeps local restaurants alive.

The staff was incredibly friendly, gave great recommendations. My husband finished the sandwich before taking a breath! He had the west coast, highly recommended. I had an oriental salad, perfectly refreshing in the warm air! My daughter loved her grilled cheese, but who doesn't love a good grilled cheese. The staff were patient with us while we took a long time to decide what we wanted, and engaged with the kids which we always love! Will definitely go back when we pass through again!

Based on the Yelp rating, I went to The Brown Bag. When in a new place I like to try local places not chains. I was not disappointed. I had the Italian and it was very tasty. The cashier helped me with my Apple Wallet credit card which was nice because I am not the most tech savvy guy.

Reccomended by my old co worker Anond, this place was an absolute hit. After walking in, I was quite frankly introduced and more than just pleasnatries were exchanged. Genuine asking of names and if I worked nearby and where I came from. From that introduction came another, which was the menu and they took the time to go over every item or "if we got it we'll make it" which is an awesome attitude you want to have from a sandwhich shop! I went for the Turkey and to be fair Turkey isn't my go to, it's pastrami and as much as I was dying to try it I'm on a strict diet. This Turkey was amazing. I think it all came together with the unique ingredients that they found to work perfectly with their sliced Turkey. I gobbled (if you will excuse the pun) up every last bit and the portion was surprisingly big and fulling. As I write this nearly seven hours after writing this I'm completely full. Prices were reasonable that chips/sandwhich and two cookies were all well under $14. I'll be back! Just wish it was a bit more accessible but here is hoping they expand. I can tell the crew here are very comfortable and have a lot of fun! A win and must try for sandwhich lovers
