The food was pretty good but the service was lacking. We definitely were forgot about and our drinks took a long time. The margarita was really sweet unless you ordered it “skinny” I’m not sure if the mixes were homemade but we’ve had better. The salsa and hot sauces were both really good!!

We have been to this Casa Mendoza a few times in the last couple of weeks. Beautiful decor. Great service. Really good food. Sit inside or outside, they both are great. Nice nice bar. Make sure to get the guac. YUMM! Looking forward to going back tomorrow. You won't be disappointed.

We have been to Casa Mendoza a few times since it opened. We've returned because the service is excellent, the drinks are delicious as well as the food. They offer inside and outside seating. In comparing other Mexican restaurants in the area, Casa Mendoza is a definite "go to." Highly recommend. You will not be disappointed.

I always go to the LQ location by my house but decided to give this one a try since it's on my way home from work. I was very happy with Luis the bartender, he is very fast and great behind the bar with excelent customer service! the new location is nice as well! they should get some live music going in here on weekends.

Stopped in for lunch and was pleasantly surprised with the beautiful atmosphere when we walked in, along with a nice outdoor patio. We ordered Margaritas, martinis, chili relleno rice and beans, 2 chicken tacos rice and beans, and guacamole to go with their complimentary chips and salsa! Everything was great, absolutely no complaints. Margarita was larger than most restaurants serve and by no means weak, food was delicious and service great. Definitely a great place for Mexican food!

Caught up with some friends here during the Super Bowl since a coworker had recommended Casa Mendoza. The food was delicious, super roomy inside, and the service was great. Pretty solid spot to check out IMO!

Great margarita's here. Nice big patio in the back of the restaurant. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Food is really good as well.

The ambiance was nice, and good service, but I was very disappointed and I'll tell you why. We both had the hard shell chicken tacos on our first visit to the Palm Desert location. The chicken was absolutely flavorless and dry. On the other hand, I really enjoy the food and margaritas at the downtown La Quinta location.

Pitchers of Margaritas were the best. Food was very mediocre. Enchiladas looked like they were pre-made, drenched in red sauce, sprinkled with a bit of cheese. Chicken inside enchiladas was good, but enchiladas were really not great. It was a Tuesday evening at 6:15 and we were the only customers in the place.
