Was driving back to California from Phoenix and looking for a quick bite that was close to the interstate. Googled Mexican restaurants then googled ‘handmade tortillas’ and this place came up. Handmade tortillas are a must. Called about 15 mins ahead and they said my order would be ready in about 10 mins. Showed up and to my delight was a fresh salsa bar. I had a bean rice and cheese burrito that weighed about 5 pounds haha and 2 carne asada tacos. Definitely didn’t need either of the tacos(only ate one bc they were so large) . Loaded up on obligatory salsas and carrots, onions and jalapeños and hit the road. Salsas were effin awesome and the star of the show. Carne asada tacos were tasty and would order again but the meat could’ve been seasoned just a little more. Burrito was all I want in a bean rice and cheese burrito. Ended up tossing not eating the second of my tacos and definitely didn’t need the tacos. I will definitely be going back. Staff was attentive and friendly.

Service was fine, but the order was wrong. They did not pay into the order. They had too much talking back there in the kitchen instead of paying attention to the order better management there as a food critic that’s a negative one star.

Restaurant signs said it's 24/7 but it's FALSE ADVERTISING. We pulled up to the drive-thru at 5:30am to get some food and nobody answered on the intercom. We went around in the front to just go in and order and saw 2 workers sitting down on the corner. My bf went up the door and it was locked. One worker just looks at him and didn't say anything so we left. The OPEN 24/7 sign was on and posters all over said it was OPEN 24/7. This place can be sued for FALSE ADVERTISING.

We just went today and the cashier was extremely rude. She made my husband feel humiliated after he just told her that he has a speech impediment and needed a pen and paper to write down the order for her to make the transaction easier. He was left feeling ashamed and a burden! The cashier literally gave him a awkward stare and did not acknowledge his request. Worst customer service! The cashier's name was Marbeya M. This was at 9:40pm on October 27,2023.

You know they’re doing something right when all you’re left with is a big pile of grease. Been coming here since they first opened in the early 2000’s. First one in the lower desert. Almost 20 years later and it’s still champ!Sadly no chipotle sauce today. That’s my favorite. And no more bathrooms. That kinda sucks but oh well.
