Chose to eat here because I'm familiar with the chain and was so very pleasantly surprised! First, the place was clean inside (especially the salsa bar because those areas are usually a bit unkempt). The salsa was well stocked with a nice variety. The food we got (veggie burrito, fries and SHRIMP FAJITAS-big bonus) were very fresh. The cashier was nice and attentive so all in all, I have zero complaints.

Walking into the restaurant today was 'lack luster'. It just did have that awesome Mexican food smell. I ordered a carne asada burrito, MY FAV as I set standards for all Mexican restraunts by them. The meat was totally flavorless and with no smell. The only other thing on the burrito was watery, also with flavorless pico. I have never been to any restaurant or drive thru that didn't have quacamole on their carne asada burrito.

What I love about this is that it is open 24 hours it's great that if your taking a long road trip you can trust to pass by Castaneda and they be open food quality can improve a bit however the choices are really great and cuddos to the Salas you guys make ! Ever see a place EMPTY and wonder why? Well for this place I know why. Food isn't good and the service is worse. The cashier was cleaning bathrooms with no gloves and then went right into touching the register and peoples orders. Yuck!
