Food, service and ambience all as good as ever. We had the veal and orange roughy and all guests said they were cooked to perfection. The mashed veggies could have been hotter but the fish was piping hot on the plate. We always love the fresh bread and pate.

The chicken was tough, probably overcooked. I never recd the pomme frittes with my entree despite being told they would be out shortly. Dirty dinner plates remained on the table far too long. We will not return.

Wonderful French dinner. I had the breast of duck medium rare.It was delicious and perfectly prepared. The wait staff is very professional and make the evening very enjoyable. We will return.

Osso Bucco was excellent. The sand dabs were so good. Veal picatta very delicious. The huge portion of pate and breads served upon seating was just as delicious as always. This restaurant is so reliably good. It's a pleasure to dine here. Thank you for a wonderful meal.

Chez Pierre Bistro never disappoints! It is an exceptional value for first class food and service. Perfect for special occasions, birthday celebrations and just to have an amazing meal. Best restaurant in Palm Desert and the surrounding area.

The service was outstanding and the food was superb. Lots of choices, lots of specials and everything we ordered was delicious. There is enough choices to please everybody. If you like garlic, that is the place. The wine list is not extensive. If you want good wine, bring your own.

With one exception, each of the four of us had excellent food and equal service. I ordered the onion soup hoping that in a French restaurant it would be special. Well, the melted cheese on top was delicious, but the soup was watery and the onions seemed like they had not been cooked properly.

Classic French dishes poorly prepared. The escargots were burnt, the top of the dish was black and the butter sauce had dried out. The fish soup was horrendous, watery, salty like a bouillon made from a cube, certainly no fish made it to this soup. The rouille was not rouille, looked more like bland mayo. The sweetbreads were not properly cleaned lots of skin left, they were not seared, it was just a plate of mushiness. The beef bourguignon was just ok. Tarte tatin was just a re-heated apple pie, tarte fine aux pommes was a round piece of dough with a single paper thin slice of apple and so much cinnamon it was inedible. To make things worse, they were busy on the night we went there, there is no bar so they had people waiting for a table sit along the wall just inches to my chair, one of the ladies was coughing her heart off directly on me. Very expensive for sub par food, an assassination of French classics

Food is always outstanding. The orange roughy is the best you'll ever have and two people who had beef liver thought it was outstanding. You just can't go wrong. So consistent and delicious.

The onion goat cheese tart appetizer outstanding. The Caesar salad was solid but not as good as other places that prepare it table side with all the ingredients. The drinks were good. The Oslo bucolic and orange roughy excellent. The potatoes gratin and the split peas terrific. We were too full for dessert. One thing about the ambience i would recommend is to have some French music piped into the background for some atmosphere. Piaf, trenet, Brassens, Montand, Patachou, etc.

We were disappointed: It was Valentine's Day so maybe our experience was an anomaly. We paid a corkage fee but the waiter seemed unconcerned about the wine. After asking the waiter what " Medium Rare" would be I ordered my steak Medium as I explained to him "I like it pink throughout and a bit of red in the center ", it came well done little or no pink. Frittes were only barely warm. The desert was not what we thought it was " Tarte Tartin" It looked like something we never have seen before, doughy crust and mushy apples. The second entree was very bland.

One of our favorite restaurants. So many wonderful things to enjoy on the menu. Bread , butter and a tasty pate are served to the table. Arturo served out table. He know ms the menu and wines. We enjoyed the fresh Caesar salad. I love the sweat breads. Reminds me of how my father made them. Few restaurants take the time to make them. These are fabulous. My guest has the chicken. Perfectly cooked and served with frites. The vegetables are fresh and tasty. Dessert was a puff pastry apple tart. Antonio also helps with our table. Everyone was great. We will back. Enjoy

Great menu but felt some of their signature dishes fell short (in comparison to authentic Parisian cuisine). Escargot can use a little more butter and flavor and pate needs a little work. Braised beef dish was great and duck was decent.

This restaurant has good basic food. Our waiter was ok but not overly personable, more delivery than service. The "specials" seem to be regular fare but are not on the printed menu only given orally without much description as to preparation style or price, ie " we have rack of lamb, OssoBucco " etc . The flavours were quite nice and my Osso Bucco well cooked. Overall a return visit is planned.
