Walking into Delish for Mother's Day brunch was disappointing as the place resembles a poolside snack bar. But we were greeted by the owner who proved to be a lovely and attentive server. And WOW! When the food came we were blown away. Not only was it presented as if we were in a fine dining room but it was, in fact, delicious. Even though the prices may have been a bit high (it was Mother's Day), all of us were impressed with our meals. A definite treasure in the desert.

What an overlooked gem! The food is fantastic and reasonably priced. It is in Shadow Mountain Resort and is above the snack bar, don't let that fool you. The restaurant's food could easily compete on El Paseo.

Good coffee and food! We ate here three days in a row, everything’s delicious and fresh.

Lovely little place located within a suburban location. A bit unusual to find but well worth it. Food was unbelievable . My crepes were the best ever. The interior could be made more interesting but the food and service made up for it. Would recommend highly.

Well first things first. I had no idea this was in a resort. Google leads you nowhere near the restaurant. So we were late (and not sure we were in the right place). Saw a sign by the lobby, but it was closed. So wandered our way around a pool where we thought a restaurant might be.Very casual. Like Starbucks casual. We were here for the Easter brunch, smaller menu and nothing really Easter about it. Sat ourselves, ordered drinks. Waited 10 minutes. Got drinks. Ordered brunch. 30 minutes later it arrives. No one had checked in and no one checked in after we received our food. I got the smoked salmon Benedict. Decent, but could've used some of that hollandaise for my potatoes.Best thing was the jalapeño margarita. Just enough spice but not too much.

Couldn't get into the gated community. No one picked up the phone when we called.

I had the pleasure of having late lunches there. Pretty much ordered everything off their menu. Primarily to go. Everything was delicious, from the Chicken Milanese, the Crepes, the Omelete, the cheeseburger. So yes, I can say, I tried almost everything. My only beef, no pun intended, not open late enough for like a Happy Hour. The view also overlooking the tennis courts was awesome as was the service. Thankyou.

We enjoyed a delicious breakfast overlooking the sparkling pool and with the mountains in view. It was relaxing and so very pleasant. The food was tasty and served quickly. I wanted to linger there with my coffee and take in the sunshine and tranquil setting. We will be back to do just that!

If you’re in Palm Desert whether living or visiting, I highly recommend a wonderful out of the way cozy cafe “Delish” located on the premises of the Shadow Mountain Resort. When you get to one of the two gates, press the call button to get buzzed through. Delicious for breakfast or lunch, watch the folks playing tennis or sit out in a clean and sun shaded patio enjoying their giant pool. The owner is Karine, a charming and friendly lady. Food is delish, with a touch of European cuisine. Enjoy!

Delish is not your usual bistro. What a find! You can just see that the ingredients are all fresh and the menu reads like your Top 10 favorite brunch classics from France, the Mediterranean and the US --- with your health in mind. Service is attentive and friendly, and it seems the owner is from France which explains a lot. Apart from the food, its’ location, inside Shadow Mountain Resort, is special and makes you feel like you’re a real local. As visitors to the Coachella Valley, we loved just sitting there with our meals and a bottle of wine looking down on the 50’s style pool and up at the mountains – what a view. We saw old photos of the resort so then to be able to dine there and just imagine… was fantastic. Thank you. See you next time.

Treat yourself to something out of the ordinary. The menu is an eclectic mix of Euro / French Mediterranean / American cuisine with an obvious emphasis on fresh ingredients expertly prepared and presented. Always visit when in town so have sampled much of the menu. Consistently good and great value. The owner and staff are focused and super friendly. This bistro is located within the Shadow Mountain Resort & Club which we have learned is a Palm Desert icon. We now know why. Overlooking that huge pool, surrounded by tennis courts with those mountain views eating delish food with a specialty cocktail is, simply, magnificent!
