Decent Mexican food. Tried the Molcajetes. A bit pricey for the type of food served.

your takeout order will never be ready on time. even if the restaurant is empty. you will always be waiting for some reason.

Don't waste your time. Service is awful and food was soggy ! Didn't get my drink and wasn't offer any chips or water while I waited for my food, 15 minutes later. I had to ask for salsa for my tacos. Is this a Mexican restaurant?

We came here on Sunday midday. Their lunch special was fajitas. We got chicken fajitas and we were pleased with the serving size. They were delicious! They included a generous amount of guacamole. The salsa was good. They have a mild that they bring you with chips and a spicier one that they will bring on request.Service was great too!We were very pleased with our experience and will return!

Disappointingly ordinary. El Guero was so highly recommended by a local resident, perhaps our expectations were too high. Or else we ordered the wrong things. The birria taco was bland, the meat was dry and all that came on it were some onion bits and cilantro. I imagine the salsa served with the chips was homemade, but in a taste test against salsa poured from an El Paso jar I'm not sure I could tell the difference. The other items ordered at our table were okay, but far from leaving a craving to return.

We decided to try El Guero for a change and we're very happy we did. The staff were friendly and helpful with the menu. My wife is celiac and has a dairy allergy and they had no problem accommodating her. She loved her salmon fajitas and I had the molcajete mar y tierra and it was amazing. Huge portion so I get to have it for lunch tomorrow too. Can wait to go back. Margs were good too.Dietary restrictions: No problem for celiac and dairy allergies!!

One of the cheaper places in town for mexican food. Most things come out wrapped in tin foil or in a tin plate or platter. Not a fan of the delivery of the food but the food itself does the job. Its cheap but nothing to write home about.

We stopped in after checking Yelp. So glad we did! Food was fantastic! I love a Mexican restaurant that makes awesome rice and El Guero hits the spot!We had the enchilada combo - the red sauce was flavorful and the enchiladas were great! We also had a shredded beef/bean burrito. The beef was juicy and tender, flavored with delicious green chili. Their salsa and chips were yum!

We recently had friends over and wanted delivery but everyone wanted slightly different things. We chose Guero for its large menu, something for everyone and reasonably priced. One friend ordered tacos, my husband ordered the loaded carne asada fries, two of us got burritos Ranchero. We also shared chips & salsa and guacamole. The loaded fries looked so good, a huge portion with tons of toppings. My husband said the carne wasn't amazing but overall he enjoyed the dish. Our taco friend ate one taco (carnitas) and left the other (birria) in our fridge. The birria taco came with no sauce and the meat was extremely dry, I tried it the next day and ended up throwing it away. The burritos (one chicken, one beef) were good (mine was chicken but I tried the beef too). I liked the ranchero style sans rice and smothered in sauce. Guac was good, salsa was bland and boring, chips were pretty good but lacked salt. Delivery came quickly and our order was correct (though I'm not sure the birria taco was supposed to be sauce-less and if so, avoid it). Having a large menu to choose from can be a good thing but if that means most dishes are meh maybe they should focus on making a smaller menu more delicious.
