We went in there to eat on March 27, 2024 at approx 1245. There was a huge table of about 15-20 gals in the main dining room. So noisy that when we sat down we realized we couldn't hear each other. So we moved to the entry draining room and we started to sit down at a table that the customers had just left. As we sat down the Mexican lady lady that worked there yelled at us and told us not to sit there bcuz the table was not clean. We could clearly see that, duh! But we wanted to sit out there because the noise was too much. We thought the way she yelled at this was very rude. Rather than greet us and say "welcome" and say "sorry we'll clean the table up soon ( the only thing on the table was two wine glasses!)", she actually had the nerve to yell at us like we were a couple of children. We left and will never return. I have a business and every frieny new customer is golden! You never know who you're going to meet meet. People go to a restaurant for the relaxing experience. Not to be yelled at by a lead server. Nope, we will turn all of our friends away from this place.

great atmosphere horrible pizza. Was craving a bbq chicken pizza and originally went to CPK . however they were ignoring any customers so we left and saw Mario's had bbq chicken pizza. however what we recieved was far from good. in all honesty it was the worst pizza ive had. I'd take a chucky cheese bbq pizza over whatever we had . pasta was fine . but steer clear of the bbq chicken pizza

Mario's Italian Café is one of a small chain of Italian restaurants in the Coachella Valley. Everyone in my party of eight was quite satisfied with their food choices. I had the daily special NY pizza slices with additional toppings and an accompanying salad. Can't be the $5.00 glass of Chianti wine!

I was so glad my wife and I tried Mario's Italian Cafe instead of dining at the generic restaurant in our hotel. The food, staff, and ambience are fantastic at Mario's. There are beautiful murals of Italy all over the restaurant. The prices are great and portions are huge. Get ready to take home leftovers. We loved the garlic bread, chicken parm sandwich, and spaghetti.

Mario's never disappoints... no matter what location we go to. My daughter and I both ordered the Alfredo and a salad and as usual it was good. The place was packed but our server never forgot about us. We ended up chatting with a large group sitting next to us and ended up staying for an additional 30 minutes! We will definitely be back again.
