We had tried the Monsoon restaurant in Palm Springs and it was ok. I decided that we should try this one just to give them another shot. We are so glad we did. The food was outstanding! We had their lunch buffet and it had all my favorites. The garlic naan was cooked to perfection. My husband is vegetarian and they had a wide selection for him. This is our GoTo Indian place. Loved it!!

I really wanted to give this restaurant a try. I had eaten at the Palm Springs location years ago and it wasn't that great. I placed an order to go. I ordered the naan bread, Aloo parantha and prawn tikka masala. The aloo parantha was over cooked so it was dried and didn't have much potatoes in them. The naan bread just average. The prawn tikka masala was over sweet. I've never had tikka masala sweet before. I should have known because as soon as I ate it; I felt sick. The other thing was; they put the hot prawn tikka masala in a plastic container. The plastic container felt like it was going to melt.

Very friendly staff. Maybe I'm not used to this particular style of Indian food or have different standards. My dishes were very very sweet as if sugar was added. The tandoori chicken which should be more dry, was covered in a very sweet sticky chili sauce that had a ketchup flavor. My rice was very wet, as if it was microwaved. Again, maybe I'm used to something different, but for some people this may suit their palette.

Their ordering system does not work. I’ve ordered twice in a row for pickup using Clover and both times they say they don't have the order. I show them the email receipt, they prepare the food and 20 extra minutes later I have my food. What's the point?

Why did it take us so long to try this place? After three years in the desert, we've found our go to for Indian food. The food was delicious and (as she requested) not too spicy for my Midwestern wife! The service was excellent! Ambiance was clean and comfortable as one would expect for classic Indian food. We'll be back. Regularly.

I go here frequently, and the food is consistently high quality. My usual order is the Butter Chicken with Garlic Naan and a Mango Lassi. The staff is kind and get your food to you in a reasonable time, and the restaurant has some beautiful art on the walls. Would highly recommend.

First impression; decor was very cold, utilitarian and industrial. It's a look I just found it off-putting. The chairs were incredibly uncomfortable (hard wood seats) No table cloths and paper napkins. Service was cheerful and fast. The food was OK. At the end of the meal I commented on the uncomfortable seats. I was told that they had seat cushions in the corner, I just needed to ask. Well, that was information I could have used about an hour earlier. Our dinner companions asked the owner a question about the menu. He was very dismissive and border line rude. I find no reason to return.

Lunch buffet $18 per person. Small selection of lukewarm food that was not replenished frequently. Server did not ask if we wanted nan until we sat down to eat. Gulab Jamun was cold and stale.
