The ahi tune was old- very fishy. The rice was old/burnt as it was crunchy (I wouldn’t care if I didn’t have dental work done that day). No pineapple! The girl put very little panzu sauce- and it was like eating raw old fish. I tried to call their phone number doesn’t even work. FYI they close 15 minutes before their posted closing time- tried to eat there after a flight at 8:15pm it was closed. Went there the next day and had a bad experience. I used to love this place! Had the freshest fish, nice fresh vegetables…not sure what’s happened.

I was a bit disappointed in their Poké bowls. I expected them to be better, overall based on the ratings other people gave them. I didn’t think the variety was as good as it should have been, and certainly not as fresh as I would have liked.

This is second to the worst place. I've walked into today, next to Luna Grill. Not one of these places is attentive or has someone able to help a customer out I walked into first Luna Grill, then Pokehana to see the owner sitting down and eating with her family or the chef or whoever she may be, which mind you I didn't know until I see them running away after I stood there 10 minutes and no one even turned to say hi. On my last review about Luna Grill, I said that it's creating a bad atmosphere, this is exactly what I am talking about. If next-door can do it then why can't they in the sluggish non-giving apathetic attitude is starting to boil over to other restaurants. Then they raise the standards, and they raise the prices. I'm so sick of it people need to get off there, but it just go to work.

Staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and open to answering questions.I ordered the salmon tuna maika'i and was absolutely delighted at the freshness and myriad of wonderful flavors! Portions were generous and the bowl was filling. Highly recommend this spot! I'll be coming back to to try out the other options on the menu!

Fresh food, fun place. Great for a hot day. Here, you get to customize your own bowl, and there are tons of choices. I'm a vegetarian, and this was the only place around where I could find any tofu! The flavors were great, and I left full, even though I had enough food left over for two more meals! My husband, a seafood lover, really enjoyed his food, too. Will definitely return.
