We had a delicious steak dinner, excellent wine, and 5-star service. It's so convenient if you're staying at the resort. Just a quick walk through the beautiful building from your room. I would absolutely go again!

Beautiful decor. We sat outside overlooking the water. Black swans & ducks swam by. The staff was so nice & very attentive. Rockwood Grill did an outstanding job in hosting our private event! Ariel, Stephany and Ruben were so attentive, polite and efficient! Their superb service was much appreciated and made it a memorable birthday for my mother in law! The bartender was also at the top of his game, making incredible cocktails all evening! The kitchen did an excellent job on the flatbread pizzas (especially the prosciutto and date), pastas and donut wall! The short rib Mac and cheese was out of this world! The private bonfire area was set up perfectly and kept tidy all evening. I would highly recommend hosting any event at Rockwood Grill!Also, my husband and I visited the restaurant a few days later and were so impressed with their dishes. We had the grilled artichoke, fococia, barramundi and NY strip. Ariel recognized us from the party and stopped by to say hi! Truly a great server who clearly cares about her guests and their experience. We cannot wait to visit again!

We ate at the Rockwood Grill at the Marriott Palm Desert resort. The food was delicious, especially the Poke appetizer!! Our server, Ronnie, was exceptional. He gave us 5 star service. He should be promoted and be given the duties to teach the other servers! Thank you again Ronnie!!

The calamari was amazing! Loved the fried artichokes and green olives that were mixed in. I got the salmon for dinner and it was spectacular! I'm sometimes skeptical about restaurants inside of hotels but I would definitely come back here!

Came here for my birthday with my mom while we were staying at the hotel. We wanted to sit outside but we're told it would be a 30 minute wait. We opted to sit inside and it was just okay. It was too warm inside the restaurant and the theme was slightly outdated. Giving 5 stars for the service. Our server Domingo, was very attentive and all of our courses were timed perfectly. We ordered the Caprese, Artichoke, Filet, Rotisserie Chicken, Sticky Toffee Pudding, and Crème Brûlée. The Artichoke was good but hard to eat, probably wouldn't order again. Our entrees were tasty and cooked perfectly. I loved the Crème Brûlée. The Sticky Toffee Pudding was good, but not really my thing. For drinks we got an Espresso Martini, French Martini, and Lemon Drop (not pictured). The drinks were good but a little too sweet for us.

Able to comfortably seat a party of eight. Good service and varied menu. Most diners enjoyed their meal. Nice evening, but nothing of note. Shuttle svc from/to Marriott's Desert Spgs Villas very convenient.

We had an excellent experience here with my mom. We saw many people going for the breakfast buffet. We decided to order items from their lunch menu instead. We loved the ahi poke, fried calamari, flat iron steak sandwich, hand stretched pizza, and fresh salad. All the ingredients were very fresh and flavorful. The pizza did take a long time to come out, but the waiter and waitress came by our table to update us. They were very attentive and kind.

Excellent service and attention to requests. Excellent view of the hotel lagoon, especially from the outside tables. The menu is brief, but the salads and entries were very good. The bar is attractive, and the entertainment was easy listening. We'll definitely give it another try.

Delicious food, nice ambience, great service! Had the little gem Caesar salad and the sausage pasta followed by the chocolate sensation for dessert! All were terrific but the Dessert was a standout. We will definitely be back!
