I ordered the turkey pesto sandwich and it was one of the best sandwiches I have ever had. The turkey was good and the pesto really made the sandwich. The place has some other Italian dishes and pastas to purchase to take home for cooking.

Wanted a couple of sandwiches to dine in, they were out of bread? Don't know if I will be trying them again, not that they would care.

The ready made sandwiches aren't as good as fresh. Ordered teramisu and it was still frozen. Had to walk up stairs to pay, but friend couldn't do that and no accommodations to help her, so I paid for her. Just wasn't as nice as it used to be.

BEWARE!!Wow!! Due to recovery from surgery I was unable to stand and cook for small dinner party (4 people) so I bought small lasagna. Seemed over priced but I had heard such great things I felt it would be $$$ well spent. When I arrived home I read the cooking directions which stated bake from frozen @ 375° for 45 minutes (which did not seem like enough time from frozen). There was a cardboard top on the lasagna that I assumed I need to remove before baking (paper in oven is not a good mix), but the cardboard was impossible to remove.I called the deli to confirm baking time and if the cardboard should be stuck to top of lasagna. I was told that the 45 minute bake time was if defrosted (not what the instructions state) and that the cardboard should come off but it was okay to bake with it on if needed. Wwwweeeeelllll ...fast forward 1 hr and 30 minutes of baking time and the cardboard was still stuck to the lasagna and removing it took of the top layer of cheese. The lasagna looked awful to serve to our guests. Thankfully they had a good sense of humor and insisted we all laugh our way through dinner!

Prepared food is subpar… lasagna is no better than an American chain….prices are ridiculous based on the quality

Place used to be decent. Now it’s half portions with a high price. Youre paying twenty dollars for a bread and cheese sandwich. I live in the neighborhood but I won’t be back. In fairness this is the story with basically all the restaurants in the area. Quality has tanked and prices gone up. Portions are

There are more sandwiches to choose from than the spicy Tuscan I picked. The case is full of meat, cheeses, and salads. The bread is fantastic, not grocery store bread, baked right there bread. You can smell the real Italian food when you walk in. They even have groceries if you want to cook at home. Can't wait to return.

Amazing people and amazing food! Jessie had excellent recommendations, the spicy combo with pesto and a roast beef sandwich with garlic aioli. Amber was extremely helpful with guiding us through the restaurant to find everything we needed and eventually the bakery, where we finished with red velvet cake and a canoli. Thank you Amber and Jessie! You gave us an electric experience of The Real Italian Deli. We will definitely be back soon!

We've used The Real Italian Deli to cater for a few events we've hosted over the last few years. The service is professional and friendly and the food is always excellent - our guests always comment on the quality. Will be back in the future.

This place is amazing! The best Italian sausage peppers and mozzarella sandwich I’ve ever had! The bread was crisp, and it was hollowed out making more room for the filling. Crispy and crunchy. This place is like tasting Italy in Your mouth in every bite. Great selection of pastries and breads and foods to go and Italian pastas and just about anything Italian you can think of is there. Can’t wait to go back for more. Craving another sandwich right about now. Adding this to my weekly circuit.

Excellent bread and desserts (especially the apple tart, lemon tart and cannoli). Then we moved on to the sandwiches and were in awe. They even have a section in the store for Italian imports like pastas, sauces and good olive oils and vinegars. It was my first time there and definitely won’t be my last.
