Is anyone going to talk about the fact that donut shops like Winchell’s are charging Starbucks prices for their drip coffee? Why are we charging $2.69 for a small drip coffee when it costs literally 50 cents to make and is 95% water. When I shop at Ross I don’t expect Bloomingdale prices and when I shop at Winchelle’s I don’t expect Starbucks prices.

Winchell's Donuts on Varner Road sells stale donut holes. When I asked the clerk if the donut holes were fresh, he responded of course, they were made last night. Absolutely a lie. The bag I got must have been 2 weeks old. Do not buy their donut holes unless you want to be disappointed

Came across this place around 11 pm and saw they were open. I was fully expecting little selection and also dry bad donuts.Holy smokes these donuts are amazing!Huge selection of delicious donuts.5 out of 5 totally coming back.

If I could review with 0 stars I would! I decided to treat my family to donuts yesterday, because I had two step daughters in from out of town and my sisters family came to visit them, so I bought a dozen for $20 at the palm desert winchells (we each had one of the different types) Within an hour my step daughters complained of stomach cramps which we shrugged off.. Later my mom and toddler son both had diarrhea and myself and my daughter vommited them up. my sister called and told me after she left that both her toddlers had diarrhea and her and my brother in law had cramping and diarrhea. which seemed to last everyone through the night. None of us shared a meal and none of us were or are sick, the only thing we all ate was one of the donuts. I went back today to inform the lady that worked there with my reciept of $20 for a refund and the manager over the phone offered me $5 and said we probably had a virus and that nothing was wrong with the donuts they sold us. As she was rudely talking to me on the phone telling me how profitable her buisness is and that our complaint didn't matter, my daughter was swishing away flies that were on the counter and inside the case. I tried to explain to her nicely that I wasn't saying anything bad but that they definetly were the common denominator between two different households. Needless to say I would NOT RECOMEND this place to anyone. FOOD POISONING IS NO JOKE AND SHOULD BE ADRESSED SERIOUSLY!

Their donuts are the best. They are always fresh and they always have choices. I've had different counter attendants each time I've gone in there. And each one has been just lovely.

All the donuts had a metallic taste & the chocolate tasted like dust which I still don't quite understand the physics of that!

winchell's donut shop 111 I think and Jackson or Monroe on the corner I'm not sure that place sucks bad walk to the front door to get in guy and his old lady sitting there smoking crack the door handle busted on the door donuts cost a buck 75 apiece $21 a dozen crack city. Dirty f****** place. dirty f****** place good place to get stabbed

so I ordered several donuts and two were hearts. there were more expensive. well there were only cooked along the outside. there raw on the inside. tried to call but they won't answer the phone. I'm 40. this is the first time this happened. do better. not sure how you get a 3/4 raw donut.
