The food was outstanding. The Aglio e Olio pasta was some of the best I’ve ever had and it is my “go to” dish for a new restaurant so I eat it a lot.

I ordered their chicken Parmesan and it was absolutely delicious! My husband and I shared a Caesar salad that was also really good. I hope we can go back once more before we head home!

The food was delicious. My daughter had the bolognese and I had the lobster ravioli. We shared a Caesar salad to start which they offered to split for us. Then the cheesecake for dessert - so creamy and delicious! For a cocktail I had the Limoncello Spritz - lovely light and refreshing. It took a little longer than I would have liked for the salad to come out but we had bread and I wasn't in a hurry. Overall, it was a wonderful way to end a lovely mother-daughter day.

We eat there 2-3 times during our annual six week visit to Palm Springs. Best Italian restaurant in town in our book. Great selection, great service, love to sit on the patio (with a heater) and relax and enjoy some great food.

Beautiful outdoor seating with delicious Italian food. What's not to like? Hard to go wrong with what you choose here. I went safe with the steak+aglio e olio, but I also recommend trying anything with their famous “pink sauce.” Give it a try!

A regular go-to spot for locals who enjoy very good Italian food at reasonable, not resort/tourist prices. All staff are always very friendly, attentive, and professional. (A fairly uncommon experience these days.) Our pasta with vodka sauce and shrimp was delicious, as was the veal parmesan with olive oil pasta. Overall ambiance is pleasant and very clean/maintained. We really enjoy this place time and time again. Only suggestion I would like to make to them is to stop refrigerating the tomatoes for the salads.

Drove an hour to get there for the Valentine's Day three course dinner package for my wife and I, only for the lamb chop to already be sold out. The steak and the pork chop both just tasted like char, no flavor. It was a very disappointing experience to say the least.

I managed to secure a last-minute reservation at Al Dente for Valentine's Day when all other options were fully booked, and it turned out to be a fantastic experience. They offered a special three-course Valentine's Day menu priced at $80 per person, and fortunately, we were able to snag a table outside. The ambiance was wonderfully romantic. The service was great. Throughout the evening, we were attended to by multiple staff members who checked on us frequently, ensuring that our experience was nothing short of excellent. The food surpassed our expectations. For starters, we indulged in the heart-shaped ravioli filled with shrimp and enveloped in a silky 'Pink' sauce, which was truly the best rendition of shrimp/lobster ravioli in pink sauce we've ever tasted. For our main courses, my wife opted for the scallops, shrimp, and sun-dried tomatoes served atop tagliatelle pasta, while I selected the sea bass resting on a bed of roasted fennel. Both dishes were exquisite—the pasta was perfectly cooked, and the sea bass was tender and expertly prepared. I'm immensely grateful for rescuing our Valentine's Day plans and, quite possibly, saving my life in the process. We're already looking forward to returning to Al Dente in the future.

They charged us an extra $6 to split a salad and $9 to split a pasta. And $28 for a half bottle of wine. What a rip off.

We picked this restaurant almost randomly while driving home from Phoenix. We were glad we did as we enjoyed a moderately priced (by today's inflationary standards) mean that was excellent from appetizers to dessert. It does not rise to the level of complaint, but if anything the service was a touch too accomodating, as staff repeatedly dropped by to ask how our meal was going.

What an incredible meal. Our waiter Gonzalo was awesome! The food was incredible, but he made the experience memorable. We will definitely be back.Kid-friendliness: No kids menu but fun waiters
