The rooftop atmosphere was nice as well as the servers attitude. Firstly, our host sat us with the wrong dinner menus, secondly our server recommended food items that were no longer on the menu, and lastly our food was no fresh at all and paying for overpriced food is definitely not justified. We ordered the pollo blanco chicken, it was hard and not fresh at all and it was served just chicken by itself with no sides at all for $36. The salmon plate was most likely microwaved and not fresh and also costed $38. Overall this place is not what it is hyped to be for $100 dollar dinner.

Had dinner here for when in town for a bachelorette and we were AMAZED. Every single person went out of their way to constantly make our experience as magical and memorable as possible. We arrived and the gentleman we checked in with who I’m assuming is the manager immediately offers to take our photo in front of the pool because it was “perfect lighting”. He took multiple incredible photos. Then we go upstairs to our table that is so cute and are greeted by our waiter. He provided incredible recommendations and also gave us recommendations and safety tips for going out afterwards. The fresh blood orange and watermelon margaritas were the most delicious I have ever had. All the food was incredible! The wait staff actually thanked us while keeping the table clean throughout the meal. We mentioned we getting cold in passing to each other and a gentleman immediately pulled over a heater and turned it on for us. I cannot say enough how incredible each person we interacted with was. I would highly recommend anyone dine here whenever you can. Truly a magical evening and as a group of girls we greatly appreciated the safety tips.

This is the first negative review I have ever left. I dined here for a bachelorette party. Before the dinner they asked us to sign a contract so we were essentially locked in to a set gratuity. Maybe this should’ve been our first red flag. We experienced absolutely inexcusable service, especially when considering the cost of the menu. The servers were hard to come by despite the restaurant being only partially filled, and when they did come around, they gave bare minimum efforts (for example would fill up only a few people’s empty glasses and would not return to fill up the remainder, or had to be asked multiple times to bring more chips or to take an order). What’s more, our food was undercooked (or even raw for some). Because we were celebrating, no one wanted to destroy the energy of our night; thus, we just muscled through our 1000 dollar dinner. It was a slow grind to the end of the experience and was one I will never return or recommend for anyone to experience. I’ve tried contacting the manager multiple times to address our concerns, but I have heard crickets. Please please go elsewhere!!!

Unfortunately this place has changed a lot over the past year. What used to be my husband and my favorite spot has turned into somewhere we won't be returning. Went for our anniversary the other night and it took them 30 minutes past our reservation to seat us. They did not offer drinks or anything, we just had to wait out by their pool. After being sat we ordered drinks (which were delicious as always) but then waited another 20 minutes to put in an appetizer (which never arrived but was added to the bill at the end). Our food arrived over an hour after placing the order. I got the beef tenderloin (lukewarm and the asparagus was soggy) and my husband got the Red Rum (had to have been made with frozen vegetables and an overcooked fish - yuck! - we sent it back) The server/bartender/food runner/whatever else jobs he did let us know that they were cutting staff and that we should let the company know about our experience.. I felt bad for him, poor guy was running around all by himself. All of the other tables around us were complaining too - yikes! I get being busy, I even get needing to wait for food to arrive, but zero excuses for the food to taste terrible and be cooked poorly. Won't be returning

The location is beautiful, the food, drinks and service need work. I ordered the Sea Bass, over cooked and needed seasoning. The drinks were heavy on the syrup, they were definitely not balanced drinks. The waiter was not attentive nor present. The gentleman that brought our food out of the kitchen was the one with the best personality, make him a waiter.

We went there as a large group (11 people) for a bachelorette. The service was very poor. We waited around for a long time between visits from the waiter. We had to ask for refills on water continuously throughout the night and they wouldn't fill everyone's most of the time. Drinks were tasty. But the dinner was underwhelming for everyone. Mine was cold and undercooked, including some almost raw potatoes. Honestly, it seemed like they knew they were getting a 20% tip because they tack it on due to it being such a large group regardless of how attentive they were. It was an expensive meal and very disappointing. Ambiance was great!

The person who initially greeted us (manager or host?) was great and shared a nice story. I thought it would turn out well from that nice exchange. The wait staff was meh, the busser was chill. The food had excellent flavors but was promptly ruined by a team influencers decending upon us with their spy drones. Not a single person flying the drones or the management asked for our consent or anyone's consent to be filmed... The atmosphere was terrible for spending 180 dollars on a meal that was stressful. It was full of pretentious douchebags flying drones and wannabe IG "Influencers" taking pictures everywhere. Not coming back.

We dropped in for a drink before our dinner down the street and oh my did it not disappoint. One of the best margaritas we've ever had. Blood Orange margarita! Don't pass it up if you're in the area!

Omg!! What a beautiful place to eat, you can choose the rooftop, by the pool or inside. Drinks are a little pricey but they are delicious!!! The cauliflower tacos were to die for and it was only my 2nd time having sweet potato fries, sheeesh talk about almost turning into a fry they were so damn good. Drizzle of honey squeeze of lime ah so good. The guy that helped us through out our experience I didn't get his name he was young worked on the roof top and at the bar up top. Super friendly great great experience!!! We got 2 delicious adult beverages, bomb avocado and chips, 2 main courses with cauliflower tacos and rice and an appetizer of potatoes fries. And it came out to $111.00. To have a great time celebrating with my friend beautiful scenery I just can't say enough. Encore

Good bites in this small hotel restaurant. We had lunch and breakfast all very good. Service is a bit slow but good. The tuna tartar and filet mignon tacos were great. Good cocktails and beer. The breakfast was simple but yummy. Great eggs and French toast. The coffee was

It’s extremely evident that this place relies more on aesthetics and atmosphere than quality and service. I think it’s catering to only bachelorette parties who don’t know any better — girlies, save your money for a place that isn’t an overpriced and overhyped tourist trap. The quality has also gone down significantly in the last year - there have been several recent one star reviews and not a single response from management.

Azucar left an indelible mark on our group, but unfortunately, not in a positive way. The culinary experience at this establishment can be best described as a confusing mishmash of overpriced dishes that fail to resonate with any discerning palate.Adding to the disappointment, the drinks served at Azucar seem to be more about aesthetic appeal than actual alcoholic content. Even for those who are typically sensitive to the subtlest hint of booze, the libations here barely register.Service, or the lack thereof, is another glaring issue. A staggering 30 minutes passed before we were graced with menus, setting the tone for an evening of inattentiveness. The waitstaff's performance bordered on dismal, with a lack of engagement that left a sour taste in our mouths, not to mention the absence of the customary courtesy one expects from a dining establishment. To add insult to injury, our group overheard disparaging remarks from the wait staff as we made our exit. Despite our group's unwavering politeness and quiet disappointment, it was disheartening to witness the unprofessional conduct of the staff. It's evident that Azucar caters exclusively to a specific demographic – bachelorette party groups with disposable incomes, more interested in capturing photo ops amidst the trendy decor downstairs than in enjoying a substantive and enjoyable dining experience.Save your time and money for establishments that truly understand the art of delivering a memorable dining experience.
